That site lists Cyndi Lauper as "safe"

Guess they never listened to the lyrics of "She Bop"!

The song was controversial owing to lyrics that subtly addressed masturbation. Part of the lyrics, "They say I better stop - or I'll go blind"' [1] is an allusion to a common (wrong) argument against masturbation. It was also on included on the Parents Music Resource Center's "Filthy Fifteen" list, due to its sexual lyrics. Other songs on the list included hits by Madonna, Prince, AC/DC, among others. This led to the creation of the parental advisory sticker.

Lauper said she wanted little kids to think it was about dancing, and to understand the real meaning as they got older. She never directly stated in the song what the meaning of the song was, so it could receive airplay. The plan worked.

On a music forum I frequent, the members were threatening to submit each others' bands. It quickly escalated to Cold War proportions.

My question is, if all of us list "Arborealus and the Veeshanites" as a gay band, would that look convincing? Or should just one of us do it? Maybe someone could send him a tinyurl version of the lemonparty site and claim it's the band's secret portal but we haven't worked out how to access the content.

Rufus Wainwright is gay. Unless you're fucking them for some other reason.

The Stones are most likely on there for the old rock myth that Mick Jagger and David Bowie were caught in bed together by Bowie's then wife Angela. The story then goes on that Jagger wrote 'Angie' for her; however, that song was written by Richards for another gal. But don't tell anyone who believes this story, cause they'll say it's all a government coverup or something.

Jagger has always denied bisexuality. Bowie has denied bisexuality in all interviews except a very early one, during the androgynous era. He has since retracted that statement from that early interview.

Anyways, enough random rock trivia, I gots more homework to do.

My point was that Wainwright's music is very spiritual, and that they don't seem to listen very well to the message of his music as opposed to just his orientation.

I have a great idea. How about we ban dancing in a backwoods town, then high school kids have to cross county lines in order to dance. Some kid from the big city moves in and shows everyone that while dancing is gay, you can still be cool doing it.

Not to any public knowledge. I'm going to go on the assumption that he does not approve of the messages of some of the songs. Most notable in "The End" when Morrison improvised a bit of the lyrics based upon the Oedipus tale. The part about killing his father and fucking his mother.

I'm basing this assumption on the fact that they have another band listed and a reason given as "endorses suicide." So he's expanded his gay list to bands that promote other activities that go against the bible.
