that's my point. I bought one last night when I saw some of those movies. I use my blender a lot and get annoyed when it wont chop shit up. that mother fucker blended a GOLF CLUB.

that is one thing most advertisers don't get. you need to come up with ways that demonstrate what you're advertising and also make the product look useful. too many advertising companies are still using the LOOK AT THE HOT GIRL NOW BUY OUR SHIT approach, and wonder why it doesn't work.

Blendtec has sold something like 2000% more product since they started running these videos and they got popular on the internet. Nike (one of the biggest advertisers in the world) is trying as similar thing on the internet and TV soon. Nike is not going about it rhe right way, but they are getting the idea.

I don't think people are wowed by slick advertising campaigns anymore. And if they are, they could really care less about what the product is. Community is starting to win over image.
