Tried the single player demos and I had a blast with those. Definitely something I'm going to pick up when it comes out especially after seeing that

I payed for the collectors edition a while back (comes with an extra multiplayer map and some other crap) and am going to be picking it up tonight after work. Anyone else? I will be interested in playing some online with whoever is game, I think I have added most of you on XBL so let me know if you want to get a game going !

The campaign of this game is a lot of fun in my mind. It is different in a lot of ways than anything I have played, and is very challenging and fun. I have not finished it yet but I can say that with things like finding the target marks in each stage, I can see the single player having a bit of replay value too.

However, the online kicks ass. You have your deathmatches and team deathmatches, and also post grab (where you try and take control of all the bases on a map). But what I think is really cool is the Fugitive game mode for multiplayer.
In it, if you create the game you are the fugitive, and everyone else that joins (up to 15 other people) are the hunters. You have to try and kill some of them, which will fill up your little progress bar, before they kill you enough times to completely deplete that same bar. You would be amazed how many times the fugitive won last night.

All around the online is a blast and will be a very good thing to occupy my time when none of my friends are on gears.

I picked this up last night and started a new campaign (I never did get all the marks in the levels, gonna try for that). I was tempted to play on extreme difficulty to go for the achievement, but remembered that I couldn't even beat the game on hard despite dozens of attempts at the 11th mission, so I dismissed that idea.

I didn't expect that there would be too many, if any online matches going on by now, but to my surprise there were actually quite a few and I ended up playing 3 or 4 matches. Playing it reminded me how fun and different the multiplayer is. I would really recommend trying this game out if you haven't already, especially the online. One of my friends and I will probably be playing it a bit now so if anyone wants to play some online matches toss me a message/chat if I'm online.
