Firefox / IE Add-ons
I was wondering if anyone knew of a add on for firefox or IE that would allow you to open two pages and view them side by side (like instead of it opening in a new tab, it opens in the same window and each of the pages take up half of the window.
I figured if anyone did it would save me the time of having to copy stuff out of web pages into ultra edit to compare code.
Thanks!

This may help out: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1457/
It shows all of your current tabs at once.

Ctrl-N, then right click your task bar and choose "Tile Windows Vertically"Funkmasterr wrote:I was wondering if anyone knew of a add on for firefox or IE that would allow you to open two pages and view them side by side (like instead of it opening in a new tab, it opens in the same window and each of the pages take up half of the window.

Re: Firefox / IE Add-ons
I would do that, but on average I have about 16-18 programs running at once, so that would be a whole lot of things tiled!lmnt9 wrote:Ctrl-N, then right click your task bar and choose "Tile Windows Vertically"Funkmasterr wrote:I was wondering if anyone knew of a add on for firefox or IE that would allow you to open two pages and view them side by side (like instead of it opening in a new tab, it opens in the same window and each of the pages take up half of the window.

Do most people use the livebookmarks with Firefox? I've found this to be the best way to read RSS feeds for me at least. It's nice to just check drop down menus for the latest news instead of browsing to the websites. I also stick my most commonly used bookmarks in drop down menus to separate them from the bulk of my bookmarks for easy access.
Basic stuff but makes surfing and RSS viewing more convenient.
And for the love of god, make your searches and bookmarks open into new tabs! IE7 still wont allow a default to open to new tab for searches.
