Where do they sell Macs?

Post by Sylvus »

My grandfather is a Mac guy, and his computer has been broken for a while and my dad wants to go to a store and buy him a new one before Thanksgiving tomorrow. Anyone know who sells them? I'm assuming someplace like BestBuy would, are there any others that you guys know of?

Microcenter used to do a lot of Mac business when I worked them ages ago.
I checked their site and it appears they have opened a store in the hated land of Michigan. :)

Not sure how far that is from you, but they have Macs.

CompUSA has them in their stores if you're not looking for mail order.

Yeah, I don't remember seeing them in Best Buy, but the CompUSA's around here have fairly large areas set aside for Macs. Frye's as well (outpost.com)

Friends don't let friends buy Macs. Really, get him a Dell. Half the cost and it can do anything a Mac can do.

Yeah Sylvus, I am guessing you have Microcenters in your area being as you aren't too far from me. And there is a Mac store here by the Mall of America, but it is pretty hidden and I didn't know about it for years, so maybe you have one nearby.

This is for my 89 year-old grandfather. He's used to his Mac, and unfortunately probably won't need a computer for too much longer. I don't think now's the time to try and teach him how to use a PC.

Thanks everybody, I'll tell my dad to look at CompUSA, if he wants it today.
