Diebold is a Republican campaign contributor. There will of course be questions Funk. To think otherwise is stupid and naive.
And no one said it was the Republicans, these are electronic systems. You have played EQ enough to know the instant you try to code something, bugs appear. Observers are on hand to figure out if bugs are causing widespread problems. One of the issues we're going to face with electronic voting is eliminating as many bugs as possible so that all votes get counted, and get counted for the right person.

I understand all that, but I also do think that there is a large chunk of people who honestly believe what I said above, which makes me worry about the future of this world.Kaldaur wrote:Diebold is a Republican campaign contributor. There is no way I support electronic voting machines. It is too easy to cheat or rig them without any back up evidence. I am fully convinced that at least one election will be decided because of corrupted machines. I would feel infinitely better if they had the touch screens and then printed out a small sheet of paper with your votes so you can verify and things can be counted later.

Never have I ever said I was a republican. I am not, and I disagree with a lot of shit Bush does/says. But it just so happens that I think that more often then not democrats sound like total fucking morons every time they open their mouths (like you, or especially Nick.)Sylvus wrote:Funkmasterr is quite an anomaly. I'm not a Democrat (I am currently pretty anti-Republican, however) and Nick is a citizen of another country (thereby making US party affiliation a bit of a moot point).
If you're judging democrats based on anything I said, or anything Nick said, you should probably re-evaluate your stance.

I don't believe any election the Republicans will win should be called into question but this definitely gives me some doubts, does it not you? My point, if I were still a Republican (switched 17 years ago) or even now as a Democrat I would want to make SURE I won the election legally, the point is to win by the will of the people, not by whatever means necessary otherwise it makes our Gov. no better than those 3rd World Dictatorships we love to complain about... If it took paper ballots to keep tards on the Internet from suggesting I stole an election then I would be all for paper ballots in my disctrict...

How does political party have anything to do with it? The machines aren't registering vote as they should. That's the issue plain and simple. It's probably just 'coincidence' that they are erroring in favor of Republican candidates.Funkmasterr wrote:If a Republican wins any election, there must have been some kind of corruptionThis must be some big conspiracy, teh Republicans paid to have the poll machines make this happen!!
