Frank had befriended after hiring him through a personal advertisement, had conducted a prostitution ring from Frank's apartment when he was not at home. Frank had dismissed Gobie earlier that year after learning of Gobie's activities.

Considering that the alleged relationship was consensual and both were of the legal age of consent (in D.C.), I guess he was basically censured for being a homosexual.

Former Rep. Mel Reynolds. The Illinois Democrat was convicted of 12 counts of sexual assault with a 16-year-old. President Bill Clinton pardoned him before leaving office

Clinton commuted the sentence for bank fraud.... not the sexual assault.

Sen. Teddy Kennedy. The liberal Massachusetts senator testified in defense of nephew accused of rape, invoking his family history to win over the jury in 1991.

LOL nice copy/paste of dumb email crap. Eric saw the same list on another forum, posted by another dumb neocon. Its sad the "author" had to dig back 20 years or more for many of those. Maybe he should have mentioned that some Democrats once owned slaves too!

Also, grats for misinformtion. Clinton didn't pardon Mel Reynolds' sex-related crimes. He commuted Reynolds bank fraud sentence, a sentence unrelated to his sexual assault charges. Whether or not he should have is another issue, but get the facts straight. [OK, I se now that Miir already covered that, but yeah...]

And since when is testifying in court considered parallel to sexual misconduct? That last one is really grasping...
