I think this is as stupid as freedom fries.

With that said, Saddam was democratically elected too, everyone got a chance to vote for him.

The real irony here is that Cart wouldn't be caught dead going into a 7-11 and redeeming his food stamps to the arab running the joint, anyhow.
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .

Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.
--RICHARD M. NIXON, "REAL PEACE" (1983)

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."

So you post an article stating that 7-11 isnt using Citgo fuel anymore two months prior to Chavez's comments for exactly what reason?

Cartalas' own article wrote:His war of words with the Bush administration has prompted one organization, the conservative American Family Association, to call for a boycott of Venezuelan oil.

But 7-Eleven warned against a boycott, noting that Citgo supplies 14,000 retailers with gasoline and employs 4,000 people in the United States.

“Americans with no substantive connection to Venezuela would be economically harmed by boycotts,” 7-Eleven said.

Oil analyst Tim Evas at Citigroup said it was unlikely political disagreements with Venezuela, which is the world’s fifth-leading oil exporter, would cause Citgo to lose U.S. customers.

“At the end of the day, I think business is just business,” he said.

Hahahha you yanks would belly crawl across central america over broken glass just to get in line to tongue out hugo chavez's nasty venzuelan asshole in order for him to keep your SUV's full of overpriced gas. he makes fun of your president, spoons with castro in his hospital bed and not only does he get away with it, he could snap his fingers and be sitting right next to the george bush and his oil cronies for dinner tomorrow night.

Awesome move for 7-11. I imagine that Exxon / Mobil corp. is still having a party. Hopefully the new 7-11 brand is comparable to Wawa prices. It's worth driving out of your way to hit a Wawa for the .20 cheaper per gallon than everyone else in town.

Gas will be going back up again right after the election. Chavez might bash Bush a lot but I am guessing that Bush and him are pretty good buddies. All the bashing Chavez is doing is only helping Bush's approval ratings plus it is deflecting attention from the real issues.
