CNN is talking about conflicting reports.

I'm more interested in how AQ will react. If he really died of typhoid, I'm sure his buddies aren't going to parade the corpse around on CNN; I doubt we'd ever see a body unless we dug it up. If he's alive, he could trash this whole story with one tape.
The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. Whoever put this story in the mainstream media is a moron or a genius.

When i first heard this, my first instinct was to say that this is a flush tactic.
They've lost any semblance of a trail and have no idea where he is. So they make this statement and push it on the airwaves hoping to draw some sort of a response from bin laden which they can use to hopefully restart a search.
smoke and mirrors.

The US government has absolutely no interest in capturing bin Laden. If he did die of natural causes, they will probably do something to make it look like he is still alive.Truant wrote:When i first heard this, my first instinct was to say that this is a flush tactic.

Americans are like wrestling fans. They need a heel to focus their dislike or they'll get bored and start to ask why a massive portion of their tax dollars are being shovelled into a hole.

I don't disagree, but you could put almost any nations' name in that sentencekyoukan wrote:Americans are like wrestling fans. They need a heel to focus their dislike or they'll get bored and start to ask why a massive portion of their tax dollars are being shovelled into a hole.

"Life is what happens while you're making plans for later."
Are you somehow implying that our tax dollars here in the states are going to canada?Aneron wrote:Canada?kyoukan wrote:They need a heel to focus their dislike or they'll get bored and start to ask why a massive portion of their tax dollars are being shovelled into a hole.
