Last Kiss

Post by Gonzoie - Luclin »

So took my girlfriend to see this flick today and saw exactly what i expected to see, a great movie. Zach's style of writing is still amazing as ever and the music he gets for his movies is right on tap with the emotion on screen. Dont have much to say about this movie except it is a great date movie, and will have you feeling great at the end.. Go see it if you are looking for a good date movie.

The comedy in this movie is very subtle for the most part, but its also plentiful.

Is this movie similar to Garden State? What are the differences? I don't think our theater has this one out yet, so I was hoping for some clues.

Yah its slightly similar to Garden State in the fact that Zach has a really in depth look on reality. As in garden state, nothing really happens too fast, and you are kept on a good pace for everything thats going on. I think Garden State was meant to be a little more comedic than this movie how ever, but Last Kiss still has its moment of good comedy, and a lot of subtle stuff that makes you chuckle.

Like i said, there isn't really much to say about it except that it is a great date movie.. i usually dont find myself watching these types of movies, so when i go to one, i don't really know how to review it.

I was under the impression that he didn't write this one, short of changing a few lines of dialogue.

Yep, he rewrote some bits and pieces only according to what I heard as well. He just liked the script.
