Windowed, cause god dammit...raids are boring
It could be that the only purpose for your every existence, is to serve as a warning to others.

Full screen. I have a TV positioned right next to and slightly above the monitor though. Also, I alt-tab out if I need to.

Full screen, because when windowed my gfx card has to redraw my desktop for the refresh rate, and I lose 10-15 fps in-game because of it.

Oooo good point. My game screen is set at a higher resolution(1600x1200) than my normal screen(1024x768). It would be too weird to change it now.

Full screen, with a dvd on my 2nd PC and a laptap for surfing. I also have my Nintendo DS and various magazines/books within reach.

I also like to do 20 things at once. My co-workers simply do not understand how it's possible to work and be entertained via music or movies/TV at the same time.

I run with a second monitor. Windowed + Maximized is a must in order to not have to Alt+Tab to go to the second window.

Full screen. No TV, no other PC, no distractions. Especxially when not-solo as being slow to respond and otherwise distracted is just being rude to the people you're playing with.

If I need to do other things while playing then it's time to stop subscribing and go get some fresh air.

Heh, "slow to respond". Are you fucking retarded? Speak for yourself. You don't need to unload your assumptions onto others.

No you cunt I am not retarded. And neither do I have ADHD so I can concentrate for long periods on a single task.
If I'm watching TV I'm not giving my group the full attention the deserve. And if you are going to tell me you can do both without it affecting your performance you're a fucking liar as well as a twat.

Nope, just telling the truth. Doing multiple tasks does not affect my ability to play WoW. Thanks in large part to the fact that WoW is so simple a child could play it. But hey, if it really takes all of your attention to play this game, then you go girl.

I rarely play without watching TV or Movies. The only time I really do is when I am dual-boxing.

I run our guild's DKP. It's a requirement for me to be able to bounce to another window several times over the course of a raid, so having the second monitor makes it easier.

If I *don't* tab out I am not performing up to the level tthat is expected of me. :P

If playing at half-capacity is as good as you're ever going to get then yeah you might as well slack off. It's not a matter of how much of my powers of concentration the game demands, it's a matter of how much attention I choose to give it. And I choose to give it all. I mean, driving is simple as well - just press the pedal and turn the wheel, how much concentration does that take? Do you wathc TV while driving as well?
I'm talking about the difference between doing a half-arsed job with minimum effort, or paying attention and doing better.

Who said that if you can multi-task that you are doing a "half-arsed" job? Some people can do damn well if not excel by doing more than one thing at a time.

Bullshit.
See how i backed up my rebuttal with as much evidence as you used to support your claim?

Let me guess. You tried multi-tasking and your group kicked you out because you sucked. Is that why you are so bitter about those of us able to walk and chew gum at the same time?

Well your clever jab cut me to the quick. I can't compete with that. Though I did type this while on the phone while walking someone through connecting to the domain and while listening to music on the radio. I was also tapping my foot and picking my nose at the same time. All of which went well. So I guess I am comparing playing WoW well is just like picking my nose. Doesn't really take all that much attention after you have done it so damn often. It would almost be difficult to fuck up.

I can't believe I have to explain this, but here goes...

There is a big difference between playing a game while watching TV and watching TV while playing a game. Note the difference in order there, that's very important and something you just cannot seem to grasp.

When I am playing WoW, it has my attention while I am actually doing something that garners my attention ie: engaging a mob(s), PvP, 90% of Instance runs, ect. As soon as it does not need my attention, ie: while waiting on mana, people to get rezzed, flight, travel, or any of the other 6 million examples in this game, my attention shifts to the other form of entertainment I have handy. Low and behold, when whatever I am waiting on is finished, take notes here because the is vital, my attention goes back to the game. Jesus Fucking Christ. What a completely novel concept.

I'll ask again, are you retarded? Is this concept alien to you? Was it really neccessary for me to communicate that to you?

I agree 100%.. while i am grouped or PVP my attention lies 100% on the game itself, regardless of whats on TV and who im on the phone with. When i am soloing, or waiting for anything that constitutes sitting there doing nothing, i am usually on Alla or Thottbot looking at quests, mobs, drops, and taking notes on key points for quests.

I also spend a lot of time browsing forums and looking for porn while in flight or working on tradeskills.

Why the fuck would I even bother railing against people taking a minute or two to do whatever they want during brief downtimes? Like I give a shit if you watch TV or go for a piss while on the griffin. . .
