It's been all over the news here. The news alert interrupted Hell's Kitchen and I'd usually be livid but in this situation, I'm not minding all that much.

Fidel's administration is saying that it's due to surgery but experts feel it's a lot more serious - partly because the extremely verbose camerawhore, Fidel had someone read a letter instead of making the announcement himself.
