911 was an inside job. You really think Bin Laden did it?Nick wrote:Cocky words for someone who's country got totally fucking owned on 9'11.

It terrified your people to the point where they will say, "Hrmm? You need to do an anal probe to protect me from the terrorists? Oh, OK!"Siji wrote:Knocking down two buildings isn't exactly 'totally fucking owned'. Sad and tragic to the families involved, yes.. TFO? It sent you off into multiple countries guns-a-blazing to spend yourselves into the financial ruin that attacking the trade centres could only hope to start.
There's a couple off the top of my head, but you can't count the toll of 9/11 as "two buildings and 2500 people", that's just too silly.

It didn't terrify the US population into anything.. it gave a power hungry corrupt government with the worst leader in the history of the country the perfect excuse to start breaking the law and act like complete asshats. Surprised us, shocked us, saddened us? Yes. I still disagree with being TFO'd, but it's a matter of opinion I suppose.Zaelath wrote:It terrified your people to the point where they will say, "Hrmm? Yeah, I'm not sure I agree w/ TFO either. But it definitely terrified a large percentage of the population, and had them supporting shit that they've since had time to judge rationally and withdraw from.
It's just ironic to see some of the same people that made 9/11 out to be the biggest event in history turn around 5 years later and try to minimise it because that suits their purpose this week.

People did and do make a big deal about it because enemy attacks on american soil are so rare, and it was shocking and surprising to almost everyone.
But owned no? If the whole state of New York had been nuked into the sea I would agree with that statement. But two buildings does not equal 'totally fucking owned'

Using the events of 9/11 in this context and saying that America got owned is beyond stupid Nick. I actually used to think you were a somewhat intelligent guy, but this is beneath even you, the events of that day were horrible and talking about them in this way makes me sick to my stomach.
Fortune favors the brave!
911 was a huge event. The U.S. wasn't "owned" though. We took a sucker punch to the nuts but recovered nicely and it gave Bush a reason to go nunzio (crazy) on the Middle East.
The U.S. is in a much better position to kick some ass randomly in the Middle East if a terrorist group actually manages to successfully attack the continental United States again. We may be due, but have avoided another attack here for five years this September 11th...not too bad considering the umpteen calls for jihads and terrorist "leaders" promising to rain hell upon us and whatever else they've been spewing while they get picked off one by one.
It's also given us a chance to improve our intelligence gathering so whenever something happens, we can go nuts and take out all sorts of "targets" in the Middle East while everyone is still pissed about the terrorist attack.
Anyways, we've got bases inside the Middle East now so can bully and strong arm the surrounding countries while protecting our oil supplies and will soon be having Iranians (the evil ones, not the sweet kind ones like Xyun) wishing the dew rags they wear on their heads were made out of Kevlar.
As goes the U.S. = as goes the rest of the Western World so enjoy or hate your life as the case may be.

I was drunk at the time
I was merely trying to highlight how cocky Americans like Winnow are after they got attacked (horrendously and unapologetically) on 9'11.
I think if any of you fucking tools (cept Teg who is
) bother to go look at my post history instead of lurking away until someone upsets your vagina you'll see exactly how I feel on the matter.

uh-huh. Be a man and just apologize. The whole, I was drunk at the time bullshit is lame. You meant what you said at the time and now have realized you were wrong. Just be honest.Nick wrote:I was drunk at the time

Yeah that seems reasonable. I ask you as a man to be honest and you ask me in turn to ask an entire country to make an apology. uh-huh.Nick wrote:I'll do that when you and your country apologise for the infinitely higher number of people you have gloated over murdering in the last 4 years in the middle east.
Or better yet, stop doing it.
I unfortunately have read most of your posts on this board over the past few years, and have seen you go from a seemingly happy kid to someone with some serious anger managment issues about the USA, among other things.Nick wrote:I was drunk at the time

Your TFO comment did not surprise me at all. We all get it you hate the U.S., once Ireland becomes a utopian society I might start to pay more attention to your daily dribble. But until then as far as I am concerned you are just some kid who gets drunk and high 5's his friends on the weekend while talking about how sweet it would be if U.S. got nuked to 'teach us a lesson'.

You're so fuckign wrong idiot. What's going on now is a prime example. If the reports are true, it appears Israel is on a murderous campaign. They seem to make no effort at all to target enemies only. They are killing civilians left and right with no attempt to discriminate. Big picture fucko. And if you think Israel is bad you can prolly look around at many other conflicts around the world and see much worse.Nick wrote:Well that just shows how completely wrong you are.
Asking the US to stop it's murderous campaign in the Middle East and re-establish it's now utterly lacking (and defunct) moral authority in matters and ethics it professes to wish to defend is a whole lot different from wishing you all get nuked.

Somehow where you get the weapons only matters if it's.......AMERICA !!!Cartalas wrote:And where does the rest of the Middle East get their weapons?Nick wrote:Big Picture? The big picture doesn't help your case one single bit.
Where did Israel get those weapons?
Shut the fuck up once and for all.
hahaha
So transparent and pathetic.
Let's start prosecuting the gun stores now for selling guns to people that end up killing someone. Wait...does that makes sense? On a daily basis you can open a newspaper and read about dozens of new murders. Do we ever once absolve the murderer thinking to oursleves..."yeah but where did that son of a bitch get his gun?" LOL

I think you will find that the majority of those guns were not purchased legally, if at all.Midnyte_Ragebringer wrote:Let's start prosecuting the gun stores now for selling guns to people that end up killing someone.
