Fuck Symantech
I'd been using Norton Anti-virus 2005 before I reformated. I'd bought it from their store via digital download, and had renewed it since the original purchase. Now apparently you can't re-download after 1 year. What bullshit... back to thepiratebay for me!

Get AVGfree; it works, it's updated every bit as fast as the others, and you don't have to worry that you have a virus detection program that's been crippled to avoid detecting the trojan it's delivered with.Dregor Thule wrote:I'd been using Norton Anti-virus 2005 before I reformated. Find & download a copy of the corporate version of NAV. S'far as I'm aware, there's no expiration to it and there's none of that regitration hassle crap with it either. It's also not bloated all to hell like NAV is these days.
It's called Symantec Antivirus as opposed to Norton Antivirus and is on version 10.x.x.x whereas NAV is using year versions.
