CNN: Breaking News!

Post by noel »

I can see Voronwe is getting the message where it needs to be... Now this is some fucking news:
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert says Israel will destroy all of the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza and south Lebanon, The Associated Press reports.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

Oh no. A nation is goign to war against fucked up terrorist assholes. Lets talk bad about them all over the world and try to diminish their efforts and make them the bad guy. That would be so cool and original.

It's a cute attempt, but who was talking bad about us when we went to Afghanistan? Or are you still supporting the position that Iraq had anything to do with the "War on Terror"?

Yes. I am saying that. But, alas, I have no link of proof. Just a hunch that a country run by a murderous piece of shit dictator who burned his people by the thousands, etc. etc. etc. might have been invovled with terrorists. Even if not, I'm glad we went in there while we were over there. Which is prolly the real main reason...it was convienient. But, many people will benefit from it.

Israel has had it with Hamas it seems. Good for them. I hope they kill as many as they can. I hope it starts a whirlwind of war throughout the entire middle east. Maybe then we will pull out and let those animals sort themselves out. Maybe the aftermath will leave us with countries run by groups of people who want a better future for their people and their country instead of the shit that it out there now.

Its actually amazing. Every time i think you have reached a new low, you managed to find a shovel somewhere and dig deeper.
So from now on, its ok to invade countries because you got a hunch? I just sure as hell hope your neighbours dont get a hunch that you might be hitting your children or something like that, since thats appearantly enough to convict people. Of course you dont mind innocent people being locked up, since we might get some criminals along the way, so i guess you would be ok with it :). And if your neighbours can then get some extra garden while youre away its just extra convenient, so that'll be ok too.

Did anyone listen to the clip of Bush? I thought it was hysterical. He's sitting there, munching away on a cracker or carrot or somes hit, chewing with his mouth open, just chomping away, all the while interrupting Blair. Blair sounds like a lost puppy.

This is the exact complaint I had with the clip, who cares if he said shit - what about some fucking manners? Open mouth chewing talking, and people who think its ok to do so when you are in a 'casual' situation make me sick to my stomach.

It's fairly easy to find on CNN.com right now. I can't view it from work.

Clinton getting head is heralded as a real down to earth man as President. Bush utters the word shit and he's a heathen. I love politics.

I guess I'm just used to my politicians cursing. Settle down, people, it's not like he did something that threatens the foundations of all of western society, like pulling out his tit.

And you probably won't see many people that won't be dead in 20 years be offended about him using the word shit in a private conversation. Now being a pig at the table.. that's different.

Personally I thought the fact that all media outlets, not just CNN, made a big deal about him saying shit was along those same lines of the blow thing... who cares.

What I did think disgusting though was him eating with him mouth open and smackin' when he chewed like that... I don't let my 3 and a half year old do that even when we are at home. While it's still not a newsworthy item I'm sure it disgusted a lot of the other leaders...

I could give a shit if he swears or eats with his mouth open, it's his fucking horrific attitude towards not giving a shit how many people die abroad or in his own country during his Presidency that's a bit more worrying.

More worrying? yes. Surprising? no. I think *almost* everyone is sick of his shenanigans and are just riding out the next few years with him in office. With a republican lead congress and senate the probability of impeachment is very low. Even my husband (the young republican) will most likely be voting for a democrat this next time around... I'm sure that depends on who is running though.

However, the horrible table manners are surprising and appaling, he is the leader of the 'free world' for godsake, someone needs to send him to Miss Manners.

Right!

It's not necessarily newsworthy but come on, did Barbara not teach him proper manners as a child? I understand putting your elbows on the table at times, hell even chewing with your mouth open if you are at home alone and have bad cold but this was an International summit of World Leaders and ours looks so out of place it's ridiculas, he mannerisms are more fitting the majority of his constituants sitting a trialer watchin reruns of Hee-Haw in week old underwear...
