Yeah, that's pretty old news. I remember reading something about it a couple years ago.

With Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg involved it's a safe bet the movie won't totally suck... as long as you don't expect anything more than a high budget hollywood action blockbuster.

I didn't check the link to see if it had the teaser trailer, but I did see the teaser trailer a day or two ago.

It could end up being the best movie of all time. Or it could have a similar effect on the childlike part of my psyche that Xouqoas TMNT slash fanfic did. Here's hoping for the former.

The film got the right behind people behind it creatively also, mainly film titan Spielberg and uber cool producers Don Murphy (holla!) and Tom DeSanto. All the creative forces behind it, I don’t think the film is going to come out whack whatsoever…too many people care about the integrity of Transformers.
