Anyone else been watching this on SCiFI channel? Pretty damned good miniseries by Speilberg. 20 hours altogether. They are showing the forst 10hrs Sat and Sunday this weekend and the next 5 parts over Mon-Fri...with next Sat and Sun with all 20hrs over both days. I highly recommend it...Very good story, good characters and great effects!

Since my gamecard ran out..I had to find something to do:)

I caught the end of one on Friday night. I was captivated by it but I refuse to watch something from the middle. I was going to tape all the episodes today but I forgot. Maybe they will put it out on dvd.

I watched all the episodes last week, and can't wait for it to start again next week. =) I was really sceptical from how the sci fi channel was pushing it, and wasn't even going to watch it, but when I was flipping channels one night and caught the first one, I was hooked ! It turned out to be very well done keeps you interested. I'm really hoping it doesn't get blown with a cheesy ending though. hehe

I thought the commercials were cool

I guess I will wait for DVD release as I can never remember the Sci-Fi channel #

Kay and i have been watching Taken. And it is really good.

The funny thing is before i realized who had done it... I was like...

Hey this is close to Close Encounters.

The scene where the girl is on the loney road and her car dies and the space ships are seen in the distance. Even the road looked similar to the part there all the people are sitting on the road waiting for the ships to fly by.
And when her car died i was waiting for the mail boxes to sing.

But all in all it is a great mini series. I hope they put it on DVD too!

I tend to agree with you, story moved to slow in the beginning so I changed the channel..

I have watched the whole thing so far and enjoyed it. It is definitely a surprising movie and they have absolutely no compunctions about killing major cast members off. You kind of have to watch it from the beginning to understand what is going on though.

This is definitely a more cerebral movie. They don't tell you everything that is going on and you need to deduce a lot of things yourself. It isn't that dificult though and they give you a lot of clues. I find it fun.

I wish they wouldn't have so many damn commercials though. I plan to flip between football and it tonight though.

Im waiting for the DVD's to come out. I dont wanna waste my time on 10 hours of commercials and 10 hours of show :)
