I had heard about this movie from the director of our organization. On occasion, we're asked to present to legislators about data driven statistics and what options and actions to take. Al Gore's movie really takes this to a new level. I left inspired by his message in a way that still leaves me in a state of being motivated to act and also proud of the way I've evolved my life.
An Inconvenient Truth is built off Al Gore's presentation about where we're headed, and the effects of our way of life on our planet. His message is pretty simple; if we keep going the way we are, we're headed for trouble. Perhaps he's building up for another presidential run, but I believe that his primary objective is getting people to listen to what science has been telling us for decades and what our government has been denying up until recently.
My principles align with the message, so perhaps I'm biased. Either way, I would encourage (most of) you to see this movie. It just might make you rethink the paradigm in which we live.
