Ever since I saw Starship Troopers I've kept an open mind about those types of movies. You can't deny that that movie kicked some ass.

Hell yeah..Starship Troopers rocked... ok, Dina Meyer's breast didn't hurt the movie any... but any Doogie seemed cool. That takes work.
Besides, you have to agree Verhoenven is an awesoem director... Showgirls not with standing

wasent this already a movie? cept there werent as many and they where acctualy real spiders just super sized the ghetto way?
The fire movis looks sweet, mostly because you know its ganna be difficult to get rid of millions of dragons so at least it will be iunteresting, as to where with spiders u just need some big big can of pesticide.

My wife does the same thing Lor. I told her last night that I wanted to see this movie and she looked at me and said, "Hell No. You're not going to see that with me"! So if you want to come up for the weekend and catch a movie let me know.

Reign of Fire was actually a great movie. Saw the Sneak Preview here in Indy on Monday. Plot was kinda, well, boring, but the special effects were just unreal

I love these types of movies. Ive got a big collectoin of old corny movies such as; Sinbad Series, Conan Series, Mars Attack, Ice Pirates, etc. I guess it takes a certain taste to like corny sci fi/fantasy/advernture flicks. Anyways, I cant wait to see both of those movies.

i'm sure i could enjoy watching one of these movies as long as the following conditions were met
1. i was at home on my couch
2. it was overcast outside so sort of greyish dark
3. i had a bong
4. i had beer
5. i slept through most of the films.

Just take a bong to the theatre ... they won't care. If anyone asks, tell them it is for your chronic athsma and you need it in there or you will have coughing spasms that will ruin the viewing experience for other moviegoers.

I dont know, everytime I see the commercial for Reign of Fire, and hear the line "How did they go from one to 1 million in a year?" all I can think of is, Damn thats a lot of CoF's.

Bahahaha They will all get ninja'd too.
I think maybe we should have a Spoilers Forum so that people don't stumble into a spoiler during a thread.
Just a thought.

They both look entertaining, I'll give you that. They both look like special effects laden "B" movies. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
8 legged freaks on the I-Max would be pretty fucking cool, but then again, a commercial for vaginal itching cream would look great on an I-Max...

Some of the best movies have been considered "bad" movies. Some of my favorites include, "Big Trouble in Little China" and "Caveman".
It all has to do with what you like I guess. But then again, hey, I liked Battlefield Earth. heheh

Footloose has got to be one of the best "bad" movies of all time. My favorite part is when Kevin Bacon is teaching Sean Penn how to dance. OMFG! And after watching Third Rock, it's hilarious to see John Lithgow as a serious preacher. Kevin Bacon dancing through the abandoned plant has to be the cheeziest dance scene ever.

Yeah, I also like Caveman, Big Trouble in Little China, and Battlefeild Earth.
A few more "bad" movies that I think kick ass are; Army of Darknees Series, National Lampoon Series, The last of the Dogmen, The Scorpian King, Red Sonja, Heavy Metal, and Blazing Saddles.

Oh yeah, and Dr. Strangelove...that's one screwed up movie. But hey, it has James Earl Jones in it...go figure.
