Fuck FEMA

Post by masteen »

And fuck all the fucking scumbags in New Orleans who fucked it up for honest folk like me.

I got $800 total, but worthless trash living in projects get $9k... EACH?

I visited my Cousin and her 2 year old at my parents' house last night, and the kid had a little brown stuffed dog that he loves. Every time he'd call out for "Brownie" (as it's named), I couldn't help but mention that he was doing a heck of a job.

It is rather inhumane of you to call them trash just because they lived in the projects.

Just because they did not ahve all your chances at the world they never learned the same levels of financial management and the damned republicans gave them more money because they knew they would blow it on breast augmentation rather than food and shelter!!!!!

Or in reality no one in NO, or Florida or the south eastern coast should get a dime post hurricane, any adult knows the risks and chooses to live there anyways. Tired of having to bail out a bunch of rich white people in FLA, and dumb rednecks in LA every few years with my tax dollars.

Bastards, now they can afford a refridgerator to live in!

Incidently, how many times does mother nature have to tell floridians to "Get off my lawn!" in not nearly so many words?

Oh shit!! I forgot, that's where Canada sends our elderly to die!

Have some money! Don't worry, our government will cover it up!

Actually more. Even after the floods last year, most houses are still standing, and just needed to be baked to prevent black mold growth. Earthquakes take shit DOWN.

I think anyone living on or west of the San Andreas should also be restricted from leeching tax money.

I do not care where people live but it is sill to make it easy on them. If all those tax dollars WASTED ( not the stuff spent well but the WASTED cash) were spent on education, perhaps people would not be that dumb.

How about them dumb fucks who live in an area dubbed "Tornado Alley"

If they get hit with a tornado, screw em, right? Or how about all them stoopid fuckers living in the Seattle/Tacoma area, just downhill of the Mt. Rainier! If pyroclastic flow melts the snowpack & sends a massive wall of mud down the rivers & totally destroys the city, it's their fault for living there!!
Or how about all them assholes who live within a 500 mile radius of Yellowstone Park! That place is a super volcano waiting to happen! Anyone who lives anywhere near there get no help when disaster strikes!!
And Trailer parks!! Natural disasters just love to target those! Anyone who lives in a trailer park should be automatically denied any insurance coverage, let alone any state/federal help!
Or anyone who lives in an area destribed as "floodplain" How dumb is you fer living there! DUUUHH!!
They bought there tickets, they knew that they were getting into.....I say, let em crash

Skogen, there is a diff between possibly being hit by a tornado every 150 years and the annual se fla washouts.

The reason the feds have to step in is that the insurance companies just will not cover pople because they KNOW it is dumb. You can still buy insurance in Kansas that covers tornados. Anything the insurance companies cannot figure out a way to make a profit from, is a dumb risk.

or maybe making houses out of wood & sheet rock is NOT a good idea when one lives in an area pron to get hit with hurricanes? Many houses are now built to be able to take a hurricane hit with ease...much like many building & stuctures in SF are built to take Earthquakes.

do you seriously think only 1 tornado hits a city in tornado alley every 150 years? more like 150 tornados hit a city every few minutes dude.

Now, see this makes sense instead of whining about the fact that the rest of the world is tired of giving them a free ride. They need to develop realistic building codes, concrete blocks with rebar and water sumps lol, but they need to do it.

In the third world they build house that can survive hurricanes but they cannot in the US, it is sad.

That's because places like Puerto Rico don't mind having concrete houses. These houses would not look good enough to bring in the cash along the Gulf Coast of the US.

that does make sense. Why does no one in Florida ever do that???? Concrete, you say? WITH rebar. Hmm. Shit I'm going to drive my paper mache car over to the City Council Leaf Hut and tell them whats up. Concrete is the future!

Yeah youre totally right about that construction shit. A lot less homes were destroyed in third world areas like, i dont know, Haiti than in Florida last year from Hurricanes. I looked up the numbers and they said that to me. Why cant we learn to build like they build?? LOL its pathetic, right?

Seriously this is all excellent information, but dont lose sight of your original vision to completely remove some of the wealthiest regions in the united states just because you arent able to buy a few more Whoppers with every paycheck. chase that dream

edit: needs more sarcasm

You do know that building codes get tougher every year? And that most places that actually went down during one of last year's storms (at least here in FL, can't speak for those corrupt bastards in LA) were built decades ago. I don't think you can even get a permit for a ground level house in a flood zone here anymore.
