VULGARTHON 2006

Well, I just got back from Red Bank, NJ where my wife and I attended Vulgarthon 2006. http://www.vulgarthon.com/

It was amazing. We met Kevin and his wife, Brian O'Halloran(Dante) and Jason Mewes(Jay). All very nice people. We were shown some films and then has Q&A's with the Directors.

We were shown Catch and Release. A movie coming out in 2007.

It was a great romantic comedy. I can't remember laughing that hard at a romantic comedy since Something About Mary. To be honest, I think this was even funnier than Something About Mary. She was very cool. Her film is tight. One scene in the end need some help and even she admitted it.

We then saw, Small Town Gay Bar. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0492487/
It was a very good documentary about a fw small town gay bars and what they meant to the local gay populace. They also have some really funny clips of those God Hates Fags idiots in there. He hasn't found a distributor yet for the film he said. He also told us about the "Bear" sub-culture in the gay community. He is a large hairy guy and apparently he is considered a stud in the "Bear" lovers community. /shrug

Then, we all got a surprise when Kevin announced he would be showing us Clerks 2.

It was fuckign funny as hell. It was amazing. I can't say anything about the plot, but it was funny. I can't wait till July 21st so I can go see it again.

Aye. He cut his hair. You can tell he is in recovery. He's very antsy, can't stay still. Kevin says he's replaced his addictions with Redbull. hehe
