EQ Player Fashions

Post by Winnow »

How do EQ players out there clothe themselves these days? What's the latest fashion?

You've got to dress better than this Fennin Ro player!

That is disturbing on so many levels.

Most of what I wear comes from Nordstrom, Old Navy, Gap, Eddie Bauer, etc. Under-garmets from Victoria's Secret.

I'm very much not hip ;)

Ack, I feel unclean...

I wear ermmm pretty much things that last...100% Cotton, Levis and Polo stuff mostly...Once upon a time in a previous life I was very very "fashion" aware (Perry Ellis, Joseph Aboud suits etc)...These days I have no clue what is "In"...

I'm a Khakis, Jeans, Button Down kinda guy...Usually Docs, Redwings or hiking boots on my feet when society demands footwear at home its barefoot or maybe Birkies...

the Fitch, Armani Exchange, H&M, Dolce + Gabbana, Goodwill for vintage T-shirts, the neat ones with weird sayings =) Got one that says Slurps Up with a picture of a sun drinking, another that says I love NY on the weekends on the front and the back says BOB in the middle of the shoulders

My preferred fashion.

Black...as much black clothing as possible.
Dog collar here and there.
I always wear 3 necklaces.
-A wolf pendant on a leather strip, the wolf howls to the moon.
There is an etched feather design on it also. (this is my Ranj0r pendant)
-Tight tribal pendant which is on top, exact width of my neck.
-Loose tribal pendant which is in between the tight one, and the wolf pendant.

Leather Pants/Boots/Combat Boots/Chains/Leather Gloves etc a_plenty.
-The shortest way to someone's heart is trough a boot in their ass.
-I am the prodigal who will not succumb.
-Im in the mood for something strong, Im in a mood for total war.
-Break the glass with my fist and watch the blood drip onto the floor.

Whatever I can "borrow" from my friends, which is usually gently used thrift store clothing. I was watching a football game one time and one of my friends said, "that players undershirt clashes with his uniform." i was pretty much like wtf.

When I feel rich: Paul Smith, Day et Mikkelsen, CK and custom designer stuff.

Other than that (99% of the time): Levis, Diesel, Petroleum, H&M crap.

Usually black dress shirt/black dress pants, a studded leather wristband, and Biffin's beloved leather trenchcoat that offers no protection whatsoever against the freezing cold in the frozen wasteland that is Canada.

That guy is just nasty. Is he supposed to be Elvis?

Shorts. Add Flojos if I'm going out. T-shirt optional depending on weather. Long sleeve tee if it's cold :)

Khakis/jeans at work unless I'm meeting a client, then it's whatever they wear. Neckties are evil.

Jeans and tees mostly for the real world, add a cardigan indoors and a good flannel outdoors when the weather is right.

For the insanity that is work, dockers, khakis and deck shoes usually. I've found that is the minimum level accepted by my boss.

Suit and tie twice a year, just to make sure they still fit.

Mostly I just wear jeans, a button down shirt (cool look / graphic is a must, dragons prefered..) and a plain undershirt.. or one of those ones that says "Out of my Mind, be back in 5 minutes" types that you can buy at novelty shops. That's my casual outfit..

If I'm going out somewhere and want to dress to impress, black pants, black velvet button down shirt mostly buttoned with a black t-shirt under it, a THICK (unlike the biffins!) black leather trenchcoat that you could probably use as a blanket if you were desperate, and of course, th emandatory black leather gloves. I also have a gold chain that I've had since my last birthday, I do wear glasses, and occasiaonlly neon blue / black sunglasses.

Call me Neo all you want, I liked the look before he made it popular. I'm just one of those guys that looks good in black. <shrugs>

So is it true that 90% of EQ players are goth-dressing ren-faire looking weirdos?!? ;)

I like to wear black as well - but by no means is it the only "color" in my wardrobe. Clothing redudancy gets so old =P

I don't dress up for work and I usually work out during my lunch hour or immediately after work so day to day clothes consist of jeans/t-shirts and workout clothes from Nike.
All the rest of my clothes comes from either Harold's (I think that's just a local Texas chain but not sure) and from Ann Taylor.
