Fast(est) Paced FPS, anyone interested?

I dunno if any of yall fellow FPS fanatics like really fast paced games that are challenging yet incredibly fun but if you do, you should check out Adrenaline Gamer for Steam... Its an old old mod but theres just not a very large player base because it takes a while to get the hang of things... mostly you need a config that doesnt suck but i could help anyone interested out with that part. Its original half life models and engine and what not but they changed a few things graphically to make it run as smoothly as possible and they added some playing modes (The fast paced one im talking about is Arena) and its a blast, there is not one game in the world that is faster than this and requires more control and weapon switching... good thing IMO but you can decide that for yourself.

anyways, if you want to play lemme know and i can hook you up with my config to start out with, if you go to games -> browse games its a third party mod, you should download it!

im working on making a movie, pretty much just a compilation of some wicked fights (Arena is 1 v 1 style and the winner plays next in rotation) with music on it and fast forward/slow motion where necessary so if i ever get it put together ill put it up here just so yall can atleast see what im talking about

I've noticed as each year goes by, I get more retardedly slow. I seem to suck at FPS games until I get into the swing of things which could take 30+ mins.

Since we're talking about an HL mod, CS comes to mind, and sometimes that shit it way too fast paced for me (except dying and watching two retards run around trying to find each other for 3 minutes). If anything I'd prefer it a bit slower, more skill than dumb 13 year old kid reflexes.

I've found that by far the best reflexes aren't younger kids but more in the lower to mid 20's, you can toss in a upper teens. I've yet to find any FPS thats ever replaced CS or CS:S for me. Or maybe I'm entertained by it just enough that I can't justify paying for another game thats the exact same thing with different skins.

I'll probably try it but i doubt I'll like it. I never really enjoyed the gameplay with the original halflife deathmatch and this looks like it uses the same thing. The whole 100HP powerup-grabbing deathmatch genre is more or less dead to me anyway, but I can usually enjoy myself for a good 15 minutes or so before I get bored. I stick to DoD, CS, and BF2 these days.

Just the opposite for me I guess - I'll be turning 20 in early July and am nothing like I was in terms of skill a couple years ago. Perhaps too many RPG's?

Well i wont hold it against any of yall if you dont want to play, ive been playing quite often the past several months and im still not that awesome (been playing for over a year off and on) so if yall dont have a significant amount of time to spend mastering the game then oh well..

but those of you who play CS/CS:S/DoD, do you have AIM? I play all of those (CS primarily) so if you gimme your aim (mine is BiggyJS) we can frag it up sometime
