She also lists her nationality as "jewish", I guess that saves time on an IQ test.

Uhh, a lot of hebrews have considered themselves a nation for centuries. Traditionally they have been homeless up until Israel was created but have always identified themselves seperately.

People's nationalities aren't always defined within imaginary lines humans have drawn up over the course of 3000 years of war. For example, a lot of people still define themselves as Persian even though the persian empire doesn't exist. Many islamic people consider all muslims part of a Great Nation.

Very few people would call millions of people wrong before admitting that they might be though. That's pretty awesome!

Thanks,
Just try to go there. A coworker was there a few years ago, and girls that wouldnt normally even look at him was more or less fighting to get near him.
One of the lesser english capable ones could write english, but not speak it, so she got a pen, and her questions were:
Where are you from?
What age are you?
Are you married?

I guess theyre kinda desperate to get away from russia.

It's probably not that easy to get someone deported... Also don't forget that you're financially responsible for anyone you sponsor for immigration. I believe that's 10 years in the US. Looks like 3 for Canada:
I married and sponsored my foreign spouse and now we are divorced. How do I get out of being financially responsible for them for the three year period?

You can't. No matter how much you loathe each other, no matter what the grounds for the divorce, no matter if he sits on his fat butt and does nothing or she carries on with the entire local football team, you are still financially responsible. Remember this. Especially if it's a holiday romance. I have heard first hand tales from several people who bitterly regret the sponsorship of an errant spouse but there's nothing they can do about it. I guess you could tell the Ministry that the marriage/sponsorship was fake to get the person a visa. That might get you off the hook. And prosecuted for immigration fraud. Your call.
So your new bride can go sleep around and you'll still have to pay the bills. Just something to think about.. These women basically have nothing to lose assuming getting to the US is their goal.

Unless there is an easy way to 'terminate' sponsorship. I'm thinking not but you'd have to look into that further if desired!

I was joking :)

If you've got cause and some documentation it's not that hard to do though. I've seen half a dozen or so military folks who married foreign women that turned out to be "undesirables" (sluts, whores, criminals, etc..) do it. Doesn't take too long. Of course most of them had already lost everything they had prior to that.

I'm pretty sure you can withdraw your sponsorship and\or refuse to sign for renewal of their visitor status as well. You're responsible for costs to send them back wherever in that case though IIRC.

And dangerous, we had a former guildie who married a mailorder bride.
He was THE EQ guru, knew all zones, all exploits, all tricks, and the girl made him drop computers, consoles, and his friends.
Personally i would have kicked her hard enough to send her back to russia, but thats just me :)

Most russian women are university educated. Most russian men are unemployed alcoholics. Yeah it is a stereotype, but I know a few women from Russia and they all tell me about how hard it is to find a decent man there. They all say it's pretty much the same reason: the men drink pretty much all the time and have no work ethic.

There's also about an 8% gender disparity in the population, which is enormous for a semi industrialized nation. In Russia, statistically that amount to about eight million single women who will never find a husband due to the awesome power of math!

You also have to take into account that the majority of russian/eastern bloc european women you import to marry/raise your kids vanish in the first couple of months, usually with your credit cards.

There was a very large article in last month's GQ (April) about mail order brides from South America (It was Argentina or Chile I believe).

It was a very interesting, and slightly frightening article. These women were all voluntary, it wasn't like a captured slavery situation like the sex trade is right now...but just bizarre. These women pretty much dream their life's goal is to marry an american and get to the US. That's all they want.

Anyways, I'd suggest checking out the article, it was very educational.

Case in point here: A woman I work with is an immigrant from Ukraine. She & her husband had an opprotunity to come to the US after Chernobyl
radiated there town, and they were forced to evacuate. Her daughter & son stayed there, for whatever reason. Her daughter is a doctor, and single. Her son is a raging alcoholic who beats his wife.

another article you gotta read..if I can remember where I read it so I can post it..is one about the sex slave market in Russia, centering around Odessa. Unemployment is pretty bad, and many people in Odessa go to work in Turkey. Sex slave "agents" single out women, then proposition them with a well paying job as a nanny, maid, etc. in Turkey for well to do families. One the girl accepts, then travels to Turkey for the job, she is kidnapped, and sold off (usually to a rich arab) as a sex slave. It's pretty fucked up shit!

On that topic...they (GQ) also did a 3 month feature on the global sex slave trade just before the new year. That truly was a frightening series of articles. I wish they would archive some of their bigger stories. I have them in hard copy, but that doesn't help much.

Wow you got me with that retard post!!!

So you can randomly spew venom and call people out for questioning someone's application response, but you can a few minutes later claim an entire male population of Russia is drunkards and lazy because your sampling of 2 or three friends has decreed it so?

Look, I thought you were fairly intelligent when I first started checking in here. When you cried and pouted over someone messing with your posts or some drivel I thought you were childish and kinda sad. Now I just think you are bitter and sad.

We all get it, you are a liberal Canadien!! YAY!! I guess we should all allow you to say shit that you will not let others say. Look at what you wrote again and tell me you would not have ripped Midnyte for saying the same shit? All of us would have, but somehow you feel you deserve a free pass? Sorry for calling you out, we all make hypocritical statements, I know I have, but your response was not, "wow you are right, that did sound bad" or "Hey, it's what I believe, like it or not."

Nope the great and almighty Kyou comes back with WOW you got me Retard. Very very impressive.

I am not going to get into a flame war with you. I would have no chance, you have 27 years of being a bitch to fall back on, while I just love a nice debate, the occasional laugh and hanging with the wife, kids and friends. So go for it, call me more names and show me how cool you are.

Sincerely,

The Retard

http://www.photius.com/countries/russia ... ~1306.html
Russia's rate of alcohol consumption, traditionally among the highest in the world and rising significantly in the 1990s, is a major contributor to the country's health crisis, as well as to low job productivity. Rated as Russia's third most critical health problem after cardiovascular diseases and cancer, alcoholism has reached epidemic proportions, particularly among males.
http://researchresources.bumc.bu.edu/ab ... 821-01.htm
Abstract: DESCRIPTION (provided by applicant): Russia's per capita alcohol consumption is one of the highest of any country.
http://www.emaxhealth.com/63/5230.html
According to the Health Ministry, the number of children diagnosed with alcohol, drug, and substance abuse in Russia has more than tripled since the early 1990s.
http://www.russiansabroad.com/russian_history_173.html

A 1995 Russian study found that regular drunkenness affected between 25 and 60 percent of blue-collar workers and 21 percent of white-collar workers, with the highest incidence found in rural areas. Because alcohol remains cheap relative to food and other items, and because it is available in most places day and night, unemployed people are especially prone to drunkenness and alcohol poisoning. In 1994 some 53,000 people died of alcohol poisoning, an increase of about 36,000 since 1991. If vodka is unavailable or unaffordable, Russians sometimes imbibe various combinations of dangerous substances.
Do you want me to go on?

I can't believe I just wasted two minutes of my life making you look like Atokal's dumber little brother. You did cut & paste that whiney tirade from one of his posts did you not? Or was it building up slowly in your little emo soul until you couldn't hold it in any longer?

I can't even remember the last time I mentioned anything about my nationality. I am certainly not a liberal. The only people that harp on those two things are the legions of pathetic trolls in my fan club that all need to follow up every time I post in here with their belligerent little temper tantrums and accusations. Your statement was that 2 or 3 of your friends told you about it, gratz on finding articles about alcoholism in Russia. My point was that you ripped on a guy for saying something about a girl's claim of nationality and yet you will throw out whatever shit you want. In this case, the point about Russian men.

I know if Midnyte or one of the other people you love posted that comment you would have insulted his manhood and ripped him for being racist. For the record, no I could give 2 shits about you, I was pointing out your hypocrisy, something you delight in doing all the time. I would have done it to anyone, but you are the epitomy of "those who live in a glass house." I know you think you have this big cult following, but trust me you are not that important. I know what I say is strictly my opinion and It is no more valuable than Nick's, Midnyte's or god forbid even yours, but you seem to think you are the light, the truth and the justice. So sure, call me Atokal Jr, like I said you have a lot more practice being a bitch then I could ever hope to achieve so I guess you got me and I will go cry in my corner, or not really care, either one works.

And here, let me give you some future material to insult me with. I had testicular cancer, so I would go with Uniballer, or something along those lines. Tell me I am half the man I used to be.

My son needs growth hormones so you can insult my ability to make perfect children.

My wife may have Cervical cancer, so I am sure you can come up with something on that!

Let see, I live in California and my wife is blonde, I am sure you can do something with that too.

Have Fun.

BTW, while I disagree with you on certain things, I would never call you Kyoukunt. Like I said, I am all for debates, but stuff like that is stupid.

I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that.

You made a decent point, then you have to throw in your little insults. But, you were right, I called you a bitch and if that upset you I apologize.

Sorry then, but I only have posted a response to her in the thread about jury duty (which of course, was deleted in a conspiracy) and on this one, when I thought she was being a hypocrit. At least that is what I remember, I have a lot of free time sitting on my ass after surgery, so maybe it looks like I am posting more after her, but I really did not do it intentionally, or maybe the vicodan is making me grumpy.

edit - I actually was thinking back and she started the shit after I posted the Jury Duty thread, so I was not stalking her there. On the gas one, she accused Boog of saying something he did not and I pointed out what he said was technically correct and her accusations were false and on this thread I pointed out that she would have ripped Midnyte for saying what she said, so no I do not think I am stalking her, she stalks many more people then actually stalk her. She even makes decent points occasionally, then has to throw in a personal insult, which is such a nice touch. And to call me whiny while worrying about me calling her a bitch is funny to me.

Zaelath has thick skin and can jab me back without resorting to whining and bellyaching and regaling VV with tales and anecdotes of your opinions about me.

Call me a bitch all you want. I really wouldn't notice if you died tomorrow and never posted again. I was just pointing out your obscene retardation by calling me a hypocrite and then claiming that you're above getting into a flamewar with me and then calling me a bitch in the next fucking sentence.

Tyek, seriously....are you trolling? or are you just kind of slow? I'm not even sure what you were trying to accomplish (unless of course it was trolling).

A statement that clearly identifies itself as a stereotype, but a justified one from first or second hand knowledge, and you're all up in arms?

Maybe you need help with the difference between unqualified statements and qualified?

I'm not sure, but I think you left your brain at home today or something.

So to clarify and summarize.

1. Lots of jewish people identify themselves as jewish, and not as american, or french, or whatever.
2. Alcoholism is a big problem in russia.
3. Many mail order brides are trying to escape the conditions of their home countries.
4. Tyek misplaced his logic circuit.

I did not say I was above it, I said I could not beat you, since you seem to have perfected the art of calling people names, so I would not do it, there is a difference. I did say I would not use the KyouK... thing, that I was above using that reference, but that is a personal thing and if it is hypocritical then I am sorry.

Hey, perhaps. I guess it depends on your definition of "nation". However, on a form I take it to mean "What country would be on your passport if you had one?", particularly when the question after it is "Religion?" and I'm now one piece of information short.

Thanks for your interesting theory on "opinion == reality" though. To follow that rationale I would have to call every drunken retard that drapes himself in the flag a "true patriot", so I'll pass. But yes, very interesting.
