Hornby Island Eagle Cam

Post by kyoukan »

This is a live webcam setup of two bald eagles and their eggs on an island we have a cabin on called Hornby Island, on the west coast of British Columbia. It's on basically 24/7. I've been following it for a couple of days and it's pretty interesting.

One of the eggs just hatched a little while ago. :)

It's really strained right now as apparently it is getting pretty popular on the interweb. They've already upgraded to new hosts about 20 times. If you could click on the banners it would probably help a bit.

Yeah those are cool, but this one is streaming.

Of course right after I posted this the cam crashed again. It's just getting beat on so hopefully they will get more bandwidth again soon.

It's just sitting there. Doesn't it dance or anything?

While I was watching I saw it move the eggs around and do some things with the nest.

Nice feed.
