This is what happens when you stop funding mental health institutions. A diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic deemed competent for trial and given 90 days for kidnapping with sexual intent of a 14 year old girl?

Although I'm sure blogs all over the states will talk about how it's all the liberal's fault for being soft on crime. This man should clearly have been institutionalized, and now society is paying for his mental health problems in a different, more tragic way.

It has zero to do with funding and everything to do with lax laws and stupid policies. This guy will end up back in a mental institution instead of getting the fucking chair like he should.
