Favre to Return

Post by Deward »

Saw it on the news today. Favre is going to return for one more season. I really hope they get him some decent players to work with although free agency has been picked clean. They ought to be able to pick up soem good draft picks if their GM doesn't screw things up again.

The networks are creaming themselves over the 100+ hours of close ups on Favre talking about his early childhood and another 100 hours of flashbacks to fill time on blowouts while the Packers suck this year but get national games. What a waste.

If you think it is bad on the national news, try living in Green Bay. I swear they are going to have a parade or some shit.

I feel bad for the Green Bay organization. They just lost a year in the rebuilding process.

Don't count on it, that's the Lions you're talking about.

Favre > Nash, Winnow!

It doesn't set their rebuilding back at all. It gives them their best chance at winning games this year. Put a newbie QB behind that offensive line and you might as well call 911 right away. Now they have their QB, they can focus on drafting what is needed and can continue to train Rodgers (who I still highly doubt will be a franchise QB).

My 'give a fuck' meter is registering zero!

I agree with Winnow and miir and Bubba Grizz and Cartalas and Midnyte and Sylvus and then Cartalas again.

Fuckers. Lions are going all the way this year, once we draft another WR. This one's going to be the guy... I can feel it.

I demand a Bonds - Favre deathmatch! Both of these primadonna assholes receive far too much press.

SO not fair. Bonds would catch a roid rage and tear Brett apart.

No problem. Brett will train his pain pill addiction and not feel any pain.

Unlikely. Bonds would tag in Canseco and he'd run Brett over in a Ferrari.
