He's a cheap pain in the ass (as are all the mk sub-bosses) and once again your best bet is the old jump kick, retreat, jump kick, retreat cheesedick strat you've been using for the past 10 years. The thing is he stays on the ground; you can't launch him, which unfortunately is the setup for 99% of the combos in the game... consequentially throwing all elements of strategy out the window. Good luck!
heh, ok. I made the mistake of staying at the character select screen when I psoted this - after my uteenth beating of my ass - and it rest the game. DOH!
I could never defeat him until I used a character with the sidestep attack. Just pick Scorpion or Movado and chain sidestep attack till he dies, then lose to Quan Chi or whoever the last guy is, cant remember atm, and pick the charater who you want to finish.
Ok. Are there multiple endings to this? I just saw the worst ending - scorpions - that I think I've seen in a game.. I mean, you beat the hell out of moloch, quan chi, and sung, but what happens? They say he gets tossed into the soulando in Sung's palace.. wtf?
Was I the only one that got a strong feeling that Scorp was supposed to be the hero this time 'round? All the movies at the MK 5 site showed him, all the premise.. hell, even the damnable V looks like his spear.
