The board's long gone now to find out for sure

Unless you're using, "thx epic" as the official OG slogan, it doesn't apply to me as I didn't even start my epic until after I left.archeiron wrote:Good catch, thank you.Xyun wrote:Fixed.archeiron wrote:Fixed.Winnow wrote:It wasn't me! Aranuil/Noel was the spelling Nazi and Arch would jump in with his grammar corrections!
p.s. thx, epic. /gquit
Now for a bonus point remind me which parts of my epic anyone in OG actually helped with.
Came back after an extended absense, got epic and left IIRC.Marbus wrote:I don't remember Arch being one of those guys though...
Was that the one where he called some paladin a bitch and caused mass deguildings?Aabidano wrote:Came back after an extended absense, got epic and left IIRC.Marbus wrote:I don't remember Arch being one of those guys though...
I can't say much I guess, pretty much quit the game about a month or two after getting mine. Right after WTF Moogy episode #999.
Should never have agreed to be an officer
Are you sure it was a ToV robe? Because the incident I remember involved him awarding himself a PoF robe when he already had the robe that cazic dropped, Crimson robe of adeline or some such shit. I remember writing an email to every officer and dropping guild the next day.Xorg Silverwolf wrote:No i think it was the one where he awarded our first ToV robe to his alt instead of a long time guild wizard and when a cleric officer called him out he told him to deal with it. Cleric deguilded and about 5 officers including me left the same/next day. A new guild was born the next day.
OG drama was classic
I would just like to point out that if it weren't for Etain, I would have never been part of the Veeshan family. We were in the same Quake Rocket Arena team together, along with Sriek Zen and the original Elidain (and maybe some others that were on Veeshan). Anyway, they finally got me to play EQ (after a few months, heh) and now look at me: still posting on theads regarding guilds that are no more, from a server that is no more. Go figure!(Hi Etain!)
OG got a lot done for a while, i think due to the fact that there were just assloads of druids and wizards in the guild. Easy to mobhilize when every exp group has a taxi.Winnow wrote:2) OG was a social guild and could never get enough people focused to succeed. I was lapping members in level with my alt character.
And then deguilded 2 weeks later when Moogy yelled at them for grinding instead of being at a raid we already had like 50 people atcadalano wrote:all i remember about OG is that i made a really gay flash intro for the website at some point. callysta and gailen talked me into joining
Yeah this pretty much summarizes my experience in terms of my capacity as 'officer'.Adex_Xeda wrote:Moogy, man that guy was hard to work with.
I remember killing myself to keep people happy in the guild and just as things were going great he'd lob a moogy bomb and piss off a bunch of folks.
Are you talking about your brief stint at the Manhole again?Voronwë wrote:As i like to remember it though, i think the cool thing is that in spite of all the nonsense, a bunch of us landed in the same place again, and it was a lot of fun.
