take a trip to the stone pony and surrounding bars. its a stumbling good time. the shore is a blast during the summer and of course there is always that little place called NYC.

and be sure to take the turnpike as often as possible!

Walk along the beach and count how many needles you can find. Another great thing to do is try to judge how much hair spray the local skank uses on her stuck in the '80's hair.

Head to Atlantic City for a night or 2. Gorgeous place ( at night ). But that is really about it, i find myself going to Delaware whenever i need to go out and have fun since i live right over the comm. barry bridge. Also you could always go to philly as well or NYC.. good thing about NJ is you are usually only about 45-90 minutes away from NYC, Philly, Beaches, AC, and a plethera of colleges that host hot women from out of state such as Rutgers, Rowan, and Stockton.

Stare longingly across the border to New York?

Well, what do you like to do?

You're about an hour tops from the shore, 25 miles from manhattan and 50 from philly, you're packed in with veritble shittons of people of all different cultures which provides choices for all kinds of nonsense. Hoboken is a terrific place to hang out but you may be a little on the young side for the area.
I'm, personally, not terribly far from Piscataway, ~15 miles. If you provide a little more direction, pm and I'll advise you as much as I can relate.

You can go hiking. I don't know exactly where in Jersey you are, but you can't be that far away from the Appalachian Trail.

New Jersey is like a cultural black hole, sucking culture from NYC and Philly, where it creates short lived x-ray flares before it is absorbed by the event horizon, never to be seen again.

Bon Jovi is the only of these "flare" phemonema to escape, and thus my hypothesis that not only is there a God, but he hates us very, very much.

p.s. NJ's #1 product aside of noxious chemicals? GUIDOS!

NJ seems to have five distinct cultures, the philly commuter folk, the nyc commuter folk, the shore folk, the pine barren folk, and me as the last person to use the word "folk" (eesh).

We also supply a ton of pharma drugs and chemical additives, so there ! :?: !

You forgot the people who live about 30 minutes from University of Delaware.

As a member of the Southern Jersey Community ( Mantua ) i find i am 1.5 hours from NYC, 20 mins from Philly, 2 hours from Rehobeth, 45 mins from Atlantic City, 45 mins from UD, 10 mins from Rowan, 45 minutes from Trenton.

In other words, i really like South Jersey because i can go to anywhere fun in a reasonable amount of time. Jersey itself may suck, but the surroundings are awesome.

You have your suburban central area. All italian and jewish in my area. I live in Monmouth, where everyone is rich and no one has any idea what to do with their money except buy new cars and spend enormous amounts of money on their stupid kids.

So far NJ isnt too bad. I am supprisingly comfortable with the weather here. For the past four days it was smelling like hairspray outside. The two days before, tuna. Quite odd. Still looking for a job. I have no car so I cant really travel very far yet. I got to see the budweiser plant and smell the hops :) Havent gone into NY yet but I hear you dont really want to drive there. Went to my first white castle, and I dont see what the big deal is. I got my 21ist bday soon but no friends to celebrate with! For those asking, I live on Barclay ct 08854.
