Well (expert marksmanship aside), if that is real (and it looks to be so), that shotgun is either a .410 or actually has a concept recoil system that dwarfs all previous efforts. Even some of yall lettuce-eating California pansies may have fired at least a 20 gauge at some point...

Now, if that is a 12 Gauge, then I am bowled over with the innovation. a 12GA with Turky loads pretty much will blacken a shoulder after a few shots. Granted, a semi-auto lessens the recoil compared to a pump or break-action, of course, but damn...

Yup, damn cool. Trap shooters will cream their jeans for years over this. My friend in Montana will be happy in her pants as well....she is an aspiring trap-shooter.

Man I've never really seen anybody shoot skeet (trap?) before, but that guy's skill had me picking my jaw up off the desk. Almost makes me want to go out and learn how to do that.

skeet shooting is left to right, trap shooting is from behind and away from you. trap shooting is more complicated because you have to hit them in order of color and the targets get smaller the more time you take.

there is also some other kind where the clay pigeon skims across the ground only it is called a rabbit not a pigeon! I don't remember what it is called.

what that guy was doing looked pretty hard but its a lot easier than you'd think. I mean it is still pretty impressive, but he is hand tossing them; they are only 10 feet away. even with 28" long barrel, a trap rifle still has a pretty good spread. it's mostly pretty neat because he can shoot so fast.

The speed of the gun means nothing for sporting clays. If you had an unlimited number of shots you were allowed to fire it would be awesome....but for most people, they will still use an over/under extremely well machined trap gun.

The real innovation for this gun will be the recoil system and will be more for practice or amateurs who are afraid of the recoil. He is of course shooting low brass shells in the video. You put in some 3" mags and he may not be shooting doubles with 1 hand anymore.

BTW Rich you pansy.......I love 3" Turkey mags.

I was looking at the Rx6 storm they showed at SHOT and it looks pretty damn sexy, but it's going to be like almost 1000 bucks

Kyou the other type of shooting is called Sporting Clay. Was trained togo pro in skeet and sporting clay before. avg'd about 48/50 then.

Man.....That guy has some unreal talent Ive never seen before atleast at close range and being as good as he is. Im sure he rocks at far range aswell...

Guessing lots of practice doesn't hurt either. He said in less than five months he fired over 50,000 times. Guessing it just becomes second nature. Like knowing when to Feign Death or when to fire off that CH in EQ!
