2. Cast malo
3. Cast Turgur's
4. watch the rest of the fight in guildchat
5. click rez box
but seriously, shaman are a highly desired class when played even moderately effectively. So level up to the low 50s as fast as possible (find good solo spots), then start grouping to meet people. try to go on raids with guilds that you might be interested in joining, etc.

Crucible used to be damned good, but it's hardly worth reading lately. Most of what you need to know can be summed up with these rules:
- Ensure that your defense is maxed out at each level
- AC > HP > resists > Wis > mana until your AC hits 1k unbuffed and then
- HP > AC > resists > Wis > mana

Haha Ooga, I thought I was the only one who felt that way. Every time I've stopped in there in the last year I get to typing up a reply to some moron whining about the much maligned and underpowered shaman class and then cool off and come to my senses before I click submit.
Seriously though, just work on your grouping skills, learn to debuff a MOB and be able to take a beating. Contribute.

It's the same way on the Ranger's Glade btw. I've been back there a couple of times because I have a low level ranger gimp I play with from time to time, and it cracks me up to no end to see the new ranger crowd complaining about how weak their class is, and how everything is so hopeless.

all class boards have a huge noise/signal ratio.
graffe's for example, is full of bitching and moaning.
safehouse, every other post is "to kill mob, reduce his hps to zero".
i can only go to the Glade every couple of days or i get too mad
LOL. The God Father of Veeshan speaks true. I stopped reading that forum ages ago.Ooga[foh] wrote:Dont read the crucible, it will only piss you off. Board is full of complete retards who don't do shit but whine all day.

SK site went to shit after a few months as well.... anyway, here it is:
1. Epic
2. Topor
3. JBB
One of which is not expensive.
[time lapse]
Now that you have those, I hope you can shaman stuff ...good.
Shamans are my favorite class to group with, hands down. Play within your abilities and have a good time. It is amazing, fucking amazing, what any Shaman that makes the most of what his/her class can do.
