I am guessing Heroin. Seems to be the drug of choice for has-been actors. I liked his work though.

Im not sure its fair to call him a "has-been actor", looks like he's been working steady since 1983.

Im guessing heart attack.

Today's headline says he was only 40.

Cause of death was is unkown at present, but it said that an autopsy was being done to determine.

Every report out there says "no foul play evident"

so i guess we'll see.

It could be because he was pushing 500lbs.

I guess 270 lbs is pushing 500 lbs if you measure weight in units of 250.

It's pretty sad though. I always liked him in just about everything he did.

Chris Penn allegedly died after a dangerous last supper of steak, alcohol and chocolate milkshakes.

The 22-stone 'Reservoir Dogs' actor is believed to have had a huge heart attack caused by his unhealthy diet and alleged penchant for alcohol and drugs.

Chris - who was found dead at his Santa Monica home on Tuesday (24.01.06) - was last seen three days earlier during a nine-hour food and drink binge at local pub Chez Jay.

A close friend is quoted in Britain's News of the World as saying: "He ordered the biggest steak and washed it down with pint after pint of beer and his other favourite drink, chocolate milkshake.
"Usually he'd think nothing of ordering five steaks, a couple of portions of fish and chips, followed by pints of chocolate milkshake and shots of 130 per cent strength whisky.

"Chris lived on the edge and didn't give a damn about the health risks. If it wasn't food or drink he was having to excess, it was cocaine."

Chris - the brother of Oscar-winning actor Sean Pen - reportedly also regularly splashed out $300 a time on cocaine and also smoked crack.

His best friend, actor Bobby Cooper, said: "Chris died because he loved doing everything to the excess."
22 stone is like 310 lbs.

Grats him living like he wanted to I guess.

Although that story reads like a tabloid article. Needs a few more "allegedly" and "reportedly" though.

No clue who this guy is.

I was at an all you can eat chinese place the other day, some 400lb pig gobbled up a mountain of crab legs, went to the bathroom and puked while I was in there, sat down and ate some more.

That's disgusting... it's also disgusting to see a 90lb person do the same thing though... both have issues.

Yup :) At least I would think so... I just don't see how anyone could eat 5 steaks. I'm BIG but I eat better than 99% of the people I know and with moderate (not small necessarly) size portions... of course I've been this way for like 8 years with no up or down no matter what I do... but that's not the point, just a reference.

That being said most people do think... DAT BOY CAN EAT! but hell 1 steak, ESPECAILLY if you drank a milkshake with it should fill anyone up... I know guys that regardless of their size can eat... a LOT, but I've never seen anyone or heard of anyone eating 5 stakes... damn.

Depends, are they those pissant little 6 ounce steaks? I could (but wouldn't) eat 5 of those. If you're talking a 14-16 ounce steaks, it's still "only" 70-80 ounces, not a superhuman feat if http://www.bigtexan.com/72oz.html is anything to go by.

The oldest person to eat the steak was a 69-year-old grandmother; the youngest, an 11-year old boy.
