New show debuted this evening (tues) featuring Tom Cavanagh (of Ed GREATness).
From the cbs website:
The series is about four male friends at different stages of life and love as told through the eyes of a single, thirtysomething record executive.
Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I"m a fan of his. Was wondering if anyone else caught it?

and why do you think that?
I guess I'm just not a fan of TV period. I think sitcoms like this can only be funny and interesting for so long, this one especially. How many episodes of him having relationships that dont work out for various reasons could actually stay funny.. It's just kind of a lacking premise in my opinion.
The premise is that he is a record exec out searching NYC and america for the next great musical act.
I had written more, but I don't feel like wasting my energy trying to convince you that this is an interesting and new idea for a show. I mean it's not forensic or medical drama!
You couldn't give a shit if it was good or not anyways, I can tell already.
Yeah, you are porbably right. The last show I was into was Dark Angel, it was a damn good show and a new idea ( I thought). I watch maybe an hour or two at most of tv a week and I just think that all the sitcoms are running out of ideas. That being said I think they have a lot more going for them then the 500 different reality shows(talk about worthless programming).
Well for the fact that you are the first person in a while to listen to what I said without foaming at the mouth like Miir, I will give the show a shot the next time its on. Time/day/channel please ? Then I can give you my honest opinion, you never know it might be good i guess.

Heehee... It's just too easy to push your buttons... you're the one who foams at the mouth... and then spits at people to provoke them into a fight.
I've got 99 problems and I'm not dealing with any of them - Lay-Z
second episode didn't disappoint. CBS has ordered 8 more episodes in order to finish out the season. So it's at least going past the intial half season mark!
I like the idea that they found an unknown talent and are using the show to promote him, and him to promote the show! was a very good idea. (the guy that plays Wayne (Teddy Geiger) will debut his album in March)
