Beta has been going on for a bit now. Any feedback?

Aside from looking around the world a lot and doing a couple fights, I haven't messed with it enough to say.. I just can't get interested in another online game right now for some reason. Though if I had the time and desire, I must say that from what I've seen of Vanguard so far that it would be the one. It's simply beautiful. But it's not early EverQuest and anyone going into it thinking that's what they're going to get will be disappointed.

My guildmates in beta say that the game simply is stunning in world, and that screenshots do not do it justice. These are not fanbois by any means, a few have already clashed with Sigil on issues that they feel very strongly about. With that said, they all seem to agree that the game is far from release. There is just so much that has to be done, estimates from them (not figures from Sigil) are beta should last a good year.

It's 8-12 months from release. My guess is late late 2006.
