New Sci-Fi season

Post by masteen »

I think that Battlestar is still the best show on TV. SG1 amd Atlantis aren't bad, but it still suprises me how they turned 1970s cheese into something this compelling.
"There is at least as much need to curb the cruel greed and arrogance of part of the world of capital, to curb the cruel greed and violence of part of the world of labor, as to check a cruel and unhealthy militarism in international relationships." -Theodore Roosevelt

Oh yes...Col. Wilma Deering (Erin Gray). She let a young boy know what it felt like to become a man...

Only thing that came between you and her was your hand right? (and that wasn't a bad thing?) :)

I am really stoked to see Battlestar this Friday. Holy crap was that good last week. The Star Gates were alright but not as good as Battlestar.

I checked out Battlestar last night. First, I like it because it's in HD.

The only issue I had with it was the blood on everyone's faces. It didn't detract from the story but every single person had like three bloody scratch marks on their face. If they mixed it up and randomly gave between one and four bloody scratch marks it would have been better I think.

I'm sort of lost on what's going on as I missed the last few episodes from last season. The cigar smoking bull dyke Starbuck is an interesting character. She had the bloodiest face of all.

Good stuff overall. I need to start TiVo'ing this again.

Well they don't have the best of medical care and things take a while to heal. Overall they have been through a shitstorm so there are bound to be a lot of injuries.
