Griffin has been exploding with new products for the iPod lately. I preordered their new iTrip for my Nano almost 2 months ago, and it just finally started shipping last week. They have at least 2 new models on their website that will work with the 5th generation iPod. Heres some links.

Personally I would rather have the cordless one, but depending on how much you travel and how long the battery actually lasts on the 5th gen you might want the corded one.

I have a DLO TransPod for my 4th Gen. iPod, and I love it. They also make TransPods for the newer iPods. May or may not be what you're looking for, but here's a link to all of their products, in case one fits your needs:

I like the TransPod because it actually charges your iPod instead of draining it, and because it doesn't rely only on a few preset stations, you can set it anywhere from 88.1 all the way to 107.9. Of course it's not as small or elegant as an iTrip, but it was right for me at the time.

Got my mother the RoadTrip from Griffin Tech. That thing is badass. Charges and broadcasts at the same time. Multiple adapters included so it works with (almost) all standard iPods. Works beautifully with her new Nano. It's $89.99 from Griffin but I picked mine up for $79.99 through Apple direct.

The biggest thing I like is that you can set it in 0.1 steps over the entire standard FM radio dial.

I also use the TransPod for my Video iPod and I love this. It has several choices of extenders, but it has been great for traveling across the State and to and from work.Hoarmurath wrote:I have a DLO TransPod for my 4th Gen. iPod, and I love it.
