I have kind of a problem. My internet is out on my PC at work. It was turned off by my manager. I'm able to connect to our network (the computers around me in my office) but unable to connect to the internet.
I've tried connecting back on the internet for a few weeks now and I'm 100% stumped on how to get it back. Anyone have any suggestions?
I browse through my IP and connection settings but cannot find the "turn the interenet on" button, or box to check (lol).
I'm stumped. Help please!

Sounds like they blocked port 80 (web browsing), and if you aren't in control of the network I doubt there's anything you can do about it beyond begging the network admins.
Was this done purposefully so you and your coworkers couldn't use the internet at all or did you manager just screw up?

no, everyone else is able to browse the internet.
By the way, I would just be quiet and not worry about it, but not only does everyone else allowed to brosw the internet or whatever, but the manager does too, as well as play a few card games and etc.
There are without a doubt times in the day where at least everyone does nothing. It's impossible at my job to be busy all day (for what I'm there for).
He never had a problem with me on the internet, but one way i heard him laughing and telling other workers that he turned off my internet, like he's picking on me or something.
So yea, I don't see why I can't be allowed also to do what every one else, including the boss, does.
