So I got dragged kicking and screaming to this movie the other night.
And
I really really LIKED it. I didn't pay attention to the acting, I don't recall any horrible lines, though. It had Usher in it.
The story was nothing new, either.
DOTTIE WAS SO HOT THOUGH.
She made the movie worth seeing =)

Light it up is the movie you are talking about.
Has Usher and Fredro starr (from onyx) in it.
I actually thought that Usher did damn well in the movie as well, and actually Fredro wasnt bad either (this probably had a bit to do with the fact that he was playing a role pretty damn close to his real life persona, but still).
Anyways yeah, I own light it up on dvd and think its a pretty good movie.
More on topic though, I did want to see this movie pretty bad, its just there have been so damn many movies in the theatres lately, or coming soon that I want to see that I lose track. I need to carry a little piece of scratch paper in my wallet and start to write them down, lol.
