Finally!!!

I have moved on to the LCD world at home. Been using LCD at work for the longest time, but just never quite got around to upgrading at home. There was always either a CPU upgrade to do or a video upgrade. Well this year I upgraded both my CPU and GPU so not much more to do but to upgrade the monitor. Been running on a 19" ViewSonic for some 4 years or so. Man that fkr is heavy! Dell had the 2005FPW for like 25% off and there was a coupon for 100 bucks off. Got it for 346. Was an offer I couldn't resist.

Hmm, as I type I'm noticing something um...annoying. Since the LCD is much lighter than my monitor my typing is causing small vibrations on the desk which is causing the LCR to bounce as well. Granted, my desk doesn't help either. I have one of those modern frosted glass desks made by Studio RTA. Guess that heavy ass CRT was good for something!

I got the same deal on the same monitor. I'm not having any problems like you're describing. Perhaps you need a different desk, or you need to type lighter?

On a related note, I love the monitor, but I hate the cable routing stuff.
