Great movie.

Johnny Cash was THE Man.

I grew up listening to Johnny Cash. The movie was very well done. The performances were pretty top notch. Joaquin Phoenix is spot on as Johnny...Reese Witherspoon is great as June Carter. Hell, they even did their own singing.

I know a lot of you have a bazillion DVD's. I however do not. I am really selective about what DVD's I purchase. I have to want to see a movie more than once...with friends...or even by myself when I get bored...in order to want to buy a DVD and own a movie. I will be buying this when it comes out.

Going to see it for a second time tomorrow.

I hear a lot of good reviews on this movie. However one thing I hear is that the movie gives too simplistic of a view of Cash. I havent followed the man's career so I wouldnt know.

incredible movie. i'd never listened to johnny cash very much, but this movie made me want to.
