Note: Two titles, Ricky Martin’s "Life" and Peter Gallagher’s "7 Days in Memphis" were released with a content protection grid on the back of the CD packaging but XCP content protection software was not actually included on the albums.

I own 38 - Our Lady Peace - Healthy In Paranoid Times but it has the other, less harmful but still really annoying DRM software

Bette Midler
Sings the Peggy Lee Songbook
Seems like an awful waste of time, since anyone who buys this would be about 90 and probably not listen to it on their computer.

As Rellix said. based on the list, I am surprised anyone found out about this software. I mean combined they probably sold 20,000 copies.
When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon

Who is the fucking geneious that thought any of that shit needed copy protection? I bet it went like this:

Dumbass #1 "Hey we arent selling any of these titles, I wonder why its good stuff"

Dumbass #2 "I bet those Gangsta thug teens are copying it so their friends dont have to by it, save them money for the pot"

Dumbass #1 "Ya we should stop them"

Dumbass CEO "I love the idea, we will install this 'protection' then when we are caught we will make a fix that will open their PC to more attacks and we can search their PC to see how much of our music they really have stolen!"

Dumbass with a Guiness"Brilliant!"

Phhhpt!

It doesn't really get any better than Louis Armstrong and Ray Charles

Billy Holiday, Earl Scruggs and Frank Sinatra aren't exactly slackers either (althought I don't listen to any of them nearly as much as Louis and Ray).
No nation was ever ruined by trade.

Some of the music may be good, but I seriously doubt the CD sales are coming from those names. You could argue that the adults buy while the kids steal, but there's still some good kids out there (and the parents who actually buy them their music).
