I agree with you Sarge but also realize he's probably the most well-known name in all of WoW. I can't think of a single player that more people know about. You take EverQuest; they could probably say Furor - but there were still tons of people across various servers with no clue as to who Furor was, yet even the level 30 newbies running around Stranglethorn know full well who Leeroy Jenkins is.

It's kind of sad, really.

Doesn't matter, Leeroy is more well known. People who don't even play games know the Leeroy Jenkins thing. There's articles in magazines about it, interviews... whatever you think about it, good or bad, it got big. Even read that they plan to add a Leeroy Jenkins npc in the game
