Levelling just isn't the same without the fear of someone ganking you while farming skins, cloth, etc.. I remember the fun of hunting in Stranglethorn Vale and defending myself against adds and players. I kind of miss that aspect of the game on a Normal server, but at least there does not appear to be the same high ratio of dumbass to fairly normal people.
I tried going back to Gorefiend to finish getting my Druid to 60, but I just could not do it. Are all PvP servers full of the little kiddie pricks, or was it just Gorefiend?
I had not really played a rogue much before starting one on this server, and they are pretty fun. I think I may have to do something with my Talent build which I hadn't really planned on due to the limited amount of PvP that will take place. My guild (The Knights who say Ni) is very big into constant AB runs. Any tips on where to look for builds? I am kind of liking the speed of a dagger build, but I thought I had heard a sword build was better in PvE.
So, I started a Rogue on a "normal" server

I played a gnome mage on a PVP server up to 42. I avoided leveling in the world like the plague, but once you outgrow SM, there really aren't any good instances to hide in until you can hit ZF. I don't know why, but nobody wanted to do Uldaman, ever.
I didn't last long once I started trying to solo in the world. STV was awful, and BB was full of hunters exploiting the FD bugs. Arathi was the last straw; I couldn't get more than 50 yards from Aerie Peak without getting jacked by a group of wandering horde.
The sad part is that I was in a huge guild, and fucking nobody wanted to group for exp, EVER. They're still wondering why they don't have any cloth classes.

Yeah playing on Stormreaver... where a large chunk of SZers migrated to =/ Full of asshats left and right. Alliance seem to have 10x more. Which seems the case gamewide. Makes me glad I'm horde. But even horde have their shitstains. One high end guild getting three day suspensions for cascading MC and being proud of it.
I'm just happy I found a high end guild with an 18+ rule to applications and thus has a decent maturity level.

I ended up joining a pvp server because Cotto (loser that he is) decided to start there. I was worried there would be a load of childish pricks there, I was right.
However, in my guild, BWL/MC group, there are really only one or two asshats that have crept through.
STV is pretty much a no go area now with my alt now, although I got to 41 on him, I guess since ZG came out.
I didn't notice too much ganking though in most other 40+ zones when I levelled my mage the first time round.
In conclusion, PVP servers = full of knobs.

It could be that the only purpose for your every existence, is to serve as a warning to others.
