I started playing about a month ago, and so far I'm really enjoying myself. My bruiser is a lot of fun!

I quit about a month ago now.

I made it up to level 54 but the grind to get to 60 wore me out to know that the High end game was still a piece of shit.

I can finally say that I am done with Sony Online.

I am interested to see what Vanguard is going to offer though, so I will probably be back for it.

If you don't enjoy the grind try WoW...

Personally I hate the grind, but I enjoy playing with friends and exploring something new. With 2 kids it will take me forever to get to the high level, maybe by then they will have content.

Marbus, what class are you playing again?

harclave is the shit for my warlock, as i can invis, light the torches and get the buff without killin a thing.

Then ae the heroics to death for the easiest xp in the game. Zero chance of death, hell i could stand there and let the DS kill em off while i afk and still win (on groups)

Now the guardian, i tried him and died to the very first mob at the zone in.... /sigh poor guards. (the mob was blue)

I'm playing a guardian :(

Actually I can get to the torch easy... actually I can get through the whole thing pretty easily except for when the system screws me or I do something stupid.

Sure, I have been caught by 10 MOBs and died because I wasn't watching the roamers and other times I have run into an area I thought was clean and gotten too many. But the other day I had cleared the King and was pulling the spiders so that I could finally finish the shit (actually had taken the day off from work to do it) took my time, pulled 2 30 double down spiders and killed them without even getting below half health. On those kills I leveled to 28... so the next pull on the other 2 spiders I got 2 level 26 double down shrooms, eh, no big deal... except this time I died like I had no buff at all. The harclave buff still showed up but it wasn't like it was there. My only guess was that when I leveled the buff went away... I petitioned that I wanted 3 hours of my fuckin' life back or credit for completed the encounter but Sony wouldn't do it... bastards.

Since I had only 2 hours left in the day, had spend the morning catching up on BSG episodes, I decided to finish the hideout instead. I'm in like the 4th room and killed 4 level 30 double down guys as once (strange I couldn't do even 2 with the harclave buff an hour earlier) and I'm almost finished. I think I had 1 crate left but saw a single level 28 and pulled it, wasn't a heretic but something else, killed it and only lost 1 bubble of health. There is another mob, EXACTLY like it, I wait till I'm full health and attack and it kills me almost immediately... so I wasted an entire day.

That's the only thing I hate about this game is that the MOBs don't make sense. How can 2 mobs EXACTLY alike be so different. I would have understood if I had almost died on the first one but he didn't even scratch me, then the next offs me like I'm level 10 or something...

I'm having a blast with the guardian but Splitpaw, while great experience and loot, made a shitload of gold latley, is really pissing me off because I can't get that shard and have to conitnaully go through those boring upper tunnels. I would love the game if Sony would fix their shit.

I quit a while ago, right after the expansion came out. I think I'd just gotten to 51 as an Inquisitor. I didn't really care for the changes, and I just never really had any fun with the game. It was okay for a while, but not that great.

Quit back in June. :?
Was level 50 for quite a bit of time and the high-end content ranged from lame to non-existant. Raiding every day for wooden chests and crap loot got boring quickly, even though my patience lasted a bit longer... Still, when nothing was changed after many weeks, I couldnt take it anymore.

total time for me in harclave is down to like 40mins... with about half a level xp gained. man i feel for you marb.

On a side note. i have a blast with my warlock, perhaps you should reroll and shelve the guard (like i did) until they get fixed.

The warlock's ae's are fun. but i think a wizard's bigger single nukes would have more usefulness.

brawlers are the new MTs. and i guess paly's n sks aint to horrible. and everyone crows about how uber there rangers are.

Well I have a level 10 Predator (Ranger) 11 Sorc (Wizard or Warlock) 11 Cleric (Templar) 9 Cleric (Inquisitor) and my son's level 12 Crusader (Paladin).

Really enjoy the Cleric and Sorc, was originally going to play the Predator but didn't like not being able to solo a green snake, even with good equipment without almost dying. Perhaps I should try again... I actually have 2 accounts so I guess I could have even more gimps, lol... I love playing the Guardian but I seem to suck more each level I gain...

I've started playing it on Wednesday night. Having a blast so far and it's a great change of pace from the bordom that had become Non-Stop Molten Core raids.

I probably see myself playing this for a few months until WoW:"The Burning Crusade" comes out.

Just wish they could get the class balance issues worked out, previose to the mass reworking they did with the expansion melee was all powerful.
Leveleing my guardian i met ONE (1, uno, einen) warlock in those 35 levels. So i thought it would be cool to play somethin different, but EVERY group i get in has 2 warlocks in it. im seriose, every group. so now theres 100s of newbie brawlers and warlocks because they are the most powerful classes atm. whenever they notice a discrepancy (as in caster /vs melee power) they over compensate and just reverse it.

On a side note. I met this guy at like level 16. I walked up asked if they were looking for another in there duo group and this guy /d me. so of course i accept, he's a summoner, I'm a warlock, we are the same level, good way to check how powerful i really am.

I cast 2 spells and he died. I think he did 35 pts to me, and that was his pet. /NERF warlocks/wizards seriosly.
