Ok who saw the commercial for Doom staring The Rock? Looked like he or someone shot aB.F.G.

Also saw him go against one of those Dog Demons with a Chainsaw.... I think I may be going to see this.....

As long as Uwe Boll isn't directing, it has potential.

The motion sickness during this movie will mostly likely be worse that it was in Blair Witch.

I hope there isn't too many of those FPS sequences.

Isn't that the guy that just uses game footage for the movie, because that's what it looks like in that trailer. What a total cop out, not to mention it looks shitty.

No, it is not directed by Uwe Boll thank god. Some guy named Andrzej Bartkowiak. He directed the movies Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, and Cradle 2 the Grave. While they are horrible movies, ive seen better.

Edit: ok watched the trailer, seems interesting, im going to hold judgement on the fps view, however i think it has a lot of potential if its done right.

Saw it last night.

Was better than I expected. There were a couple of lines here and there that left ya with a funny taste in your mouth, but not enough to turn me off. Action was well done and the reactions are believeable. The story was pretty simple. If you want a complex movie, stay away from this.

The fps view wasnt used very much. Very few points here and there, and then a pretty big part in it. If you are a doom fan, you will LOVE this segment.
All in all, its pretty much a zombie flick. Much better than either Resident Evil. There could used a little more time on character development, but I can understand why they focused on action more.

I thought it sucked nuts, who wants to watch someone ELSE play a video game?

It's #1 at the box office right now, taking in a tad over 15 million. Universal was dissappointed with the opening, while I was surprised it made that much.

I haven't seen this movie yet. Critics hate it so much, and gamers seem to love it. I love when there's turmoil!

have only seen the trailer, but it gave me enough ammunition to believe that this movie is going to love the cock on what can only be described as a global scale.
