Giving Kilmoll credit-
You need to provide Xoocow with a SS for the front page to go with the steamroll thread. Its a community effort thing.
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .
Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.
--RICHARD M. NIXON, "REAL PEACE" (1983)
"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."
Dwight Eisenhower

if you were walking around and you came upon a tulip with tits, would you let it be for the rest of the world to enjoy.. or would you pick it and carry it off to a secluded area to motorboat them?

Oooh I get to star farm and defend myself all in the same thread..woot! Xaem is exactly right...I can't beleive I am saying this. Comps had 12 people in WL. They had no intention of killing Wuoshi only holding him until more peopel could drag their asses out of PoM. We finally got enough peple to log on so we moved out of or faction group in Kael to kill him. I even tried to talk to Tosari and ask him if you were going to have the force there first. His response was "thanks threat." I told him we were not threatening and if you were going to have the force we would not interfere. At this point he decided i was not worth talking to anymore. Comps moved away from kael zone and prepped (poorly it would seem) then wiped out on him. I walked up to Wuoshi on his spawn point, /assist him (not aggro on anyone) did a quick /comp 4 left in zone (the lucky UnKoS i guess) and directed my ranger to pull Wuoshi. Now allow to predict the future if i may. Someone from Comps will say we trained Wuoshi on them. This will be a lie. You will say yes you did, we will say no we didnt, people will farm stars and people will tell us all to shut up. On the bright side finally a Flame thread to get our feet wet. Now somebody go Roll someone for Real so we can get a good one going.

Stop whining, we've all been on some scenario like this. If you are there with 'whatever' force, and somebody shows up 2nd, and you sit on your asses long enough, the 2nd team will take their shot. There is no argument about what is enough. If you have enough, then hopefully you will be given enough time to buff, prep etc, but hey, thats not always the case either. Don't expect help from the GM's cause you won't get it. First in force doesnt seem to matter much anymore, doesnt even really seem like first to engage does. Only thing that seems to matter these days is who got xp. Not saying whats right, just saying what I see lately.
