Having tried the Quattro when it came out, I can say it sucks compared to the Mach3 vibrator. I don't see how five is going to be better than 4 when 4 wasn't better than 3.

I actually like quattro, it works really well and I'd assume that would be the case if it only had two blades as it's the pivot and wires that make it work well, blade quantity is all marketing at this point.

G works off of "perceptible benefits". It's such an arbitrary measurement of improvement. My aging M3 turbo handle has held power, turbo, and regular blades and I couldn't tell a difference in any of them save for price and appearance. And the vibration thing is silly in the power; they market it to men as technology and to women as an exfoliator. It's ridiculous to be honest.

The only truly interesting thing about this new G product is that it has a trimmer. This was obviously a feedback issue from using the M3 because getting under the nose was always this product's failure. From that standpoint alone, it sounds interesting. I'm not sure how they morph this into a women's product unless they claim you can trim your pubes now with that thingy on the back  .

Still no heated blades on water contact though, I really thought that would have been next on their tech scale.

it takes a standard razor blade (little rectangle guy). You put it into a piece that screws down onto the handle.

It's the original portable razor after the straightblade.

Well, some of us can actually grow thick, manly hair that you need a chainsaw to cut through.

Mangina hair only requires one generic blade!

Actually...I don't shave anymore. Even with the Mach 3...and getting my face nice and steamy...beard softening shaving cream...I still only got 2 shaves per cartridge...that is crazy expensive.

I am now sporting the amazing huge full beard...it is so liberating!

Heh...dude I look positively biblical in a month w/o shaving...The screwdowns are better for thick hair as the blades are less flexible, more durable, and way cheaper...and you can re-edge them...

Miir...yep...neckbeard and all.

Arb - I know how you feel. I grow at the rate of about an inch per month...and it has been 6 months this past week.

At first I just wanted to see what I looked like with a full beard...I have usually just worn a close cropped goatee. After about 4 months of full beardedness, I just thought the full tailback goatee would better suit me.

So right now I am wearing the massive tailback goatee...full neck beard...untrimmed moustache for the past 6 months. It is low maintenance...

And trust me, I have been complimented and insulted more in the last few months because of my beard than the all of my years without it. It is interesting in that most children love the beard (my daughters both think it's great)....and I get more comments from women than from men...

My goal is to let it grow for a full year...and if I like the length, I may just see how long it goes to terminal length.

For some reason, my wife has been taken with calling me Gimli and asking where my axe is....

Started off...
Image

At three months...
Image

At 4 months...and getting too bushy on the sides for my liking...
Image

Still at 4 months on these next two...but trimmed the sides off to form the tailback goatee
Image

Image

Now at 6 months...and the weight of the hair as it lengthened is making my beard look less full..and longer and straighter
Image

It is funny how beards are a cyclical thing. In the 1800's and early 1900's most men sported facial hair.

I will post a picture when it is long enough to do Dwarven braids =P

Seriously, with that beard died and the costume on, you would be Santa ! got the right facial features and everything !! lol

At least you know that if you are hard up for work some holiday season you can go sit in a mall and have little kids pee on you all day for some money.
