Guy on my server got all his shit deleted, and the guy who did it was kind enough to make a video of it! Excellent choice of music!

I watched it again.

I laughed again. That's so wrong, but it's so funny.

I gather the guy was not well liked by his server community?

Why do I get the feeling none of you would think that was all that amusing if it happened to you.

If you give people your infoz, you're asking for shit like this.

It's funny how people that get "hacked" whine and complain until they reveal that they indeed did give someone their info.

Honestly, i would laugh my ass off in his situation. The fact that the guy was clever enough to make a video (a pretty good one at that), just cracks me up. The guy has nothing to worry about, all his shit will be restored, it'll take a little while, but that's no big.

Of course, now that this is happened, if the same thing were done to me, I would feel it was a cheap knockoff. But if originality were shown, I would give it the good laugh it deserved!

I suppose his stuff will be restored.

Although, will they suspend him or anything for giving away his account info? I know that was a no no in eq, guess i've never paid attention to blizzards policy.

There is a bit of an outbreak of account hacking as of late. Specifically something to do with a trojan program recording your info when you logged in.

If you are careless or clueless enough to get a trojan keystroke recorder, then you are a moron and deserve to have your shit deleted.

Or someone who has no business installing UI's etc. The "skinning" of games to the extent that several programs were able to do so with WoW make it easier for people to slip things into them. I can think of several people that made the mistake of googling stuff like that and found bad things in the packages they received.

I know I'm still pissed that rather than the Crayola 64 pack with the crayon sharpner, I usually only got the 32 pack.

At least it still had periwinkle.
