Post by Draaxx »

My girlfriend has told me that she is getting me a PSP for my birthday, yay! She asked me to get her a list of games im interested in so she can get a few at random, and i was looking for yalls help. What are some PSP games that came out rather well, or were just really fun etc. and if its worth it to buy a 1 gig memory card or any other accessories worth buying.

thanks

I have been playing Hot Shots Golf all damn summer. That game is addicting. If you intend to run emulators, then deffinitely invest in the larger mem card.
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .

Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.
--RICHARD M. NIXON, "REAL PEACE" (1983)

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."

My two favorite this far...Hot Shots Golf and Lumines.

I also have Untold Legends, Wipeout Pure and a few others. But I have been playing Hot Shots Golf like it was going out of style.

And Lumines takes the whole "Tetris" addiction thing to a whole new level...you can play that one until you are almost hypnotized by the music and falling blocks.

Hotshots is good, but the Tiger rendition is, in my opinion, better. Wipout Pure is amazing, as is Need for Speed. IGN is your best bet for great, free reviews.

a neat game where you're controlling the board, like tilting it.. making the ball of mercury do different things... split, combining colors, hitting goals..

it's addictive.

Hot Shots Golf and Lumines are damned addicting. I've been playing them since the PSP came out. Damn you Sony!

Another vote for Hot Shots and Lumines. Both are excellent.

Ridge Racer was good to I thought. Best racing game of the bunch.

Mercury is great and everyone should buy it!!

Mercury 2 is almost finished now too, seeing as Mercury 1 was ready for the original Euro PSP release in March. . .

Lumines, Hot Shots Golf, Wipeout Pure, and Mercury should be standard with the PSP.

I like the swing of the Tiger Woods game, but Hot Shots is just better.
